It’s my third stay at the hotel the rooftop pool and dining are amazing . Staff are professional and the cleanliness is 10/10.
Small but sharing the elevator with the next door venue on the odd occasion I was in it at a weekend .

The hotel was modern and clean with nice communal areas. The room was well equipped and the aircon worked really well, which was nice to come back to after a busy day exploring!
The service from the staff on the front desk was unfortunately not great. Our first experience of this was on check-in. We were not once welcomed to the hotel, nor offered any welcome drink/water. We were asked for our passports and then told to insert our card into the reader (no amount was displayed on the screen). I queried to find out what I was being charged, and was told "this is for the cost of the stay, state tax, tourist tax and the resort fee", with no breakdown of costs provided, nor a total amount. We were then given our room key with no other information on the hotel. It wasn't until the final night that we learnt our resort fee covered two complimentary cinema tickets at the chinese Theatre, along with $17.50 of daily food/drink credit (this was explained to us by another guest by the pool). When we were the only people checking in at the time, so being made to feel like we were an inconvenience for the front desk staff was dissapointing. We did not get to use any of this which was a real shame.
Upon return to the hotel each day, we walked past many staff members who ignored you as they scrolled on their phones. This isn't a great look and a simple "hello" would never go amiss. Even on checkout, we struggled with our cases through the lobby doors with no offer at any time from any staff member to help. Again, we were the only people around at the time which made it all the more dissapointing.
The car parking situation is a little excessive here too. There is a car park underground below the hotel, which is valet parking only. This costs $72.60 per night (including tax) which seems massively excessive. I am of course more than happy to pay a premium for parking given the location and convenience, but I feel like that is regrettably excessive. We parked at the hotel for the first night and then used a car park opposite, which was more reasonably priced at $30 per night.
