Generous sized room, lots of original period features kept. Gorgeous bedding.
Car parking chaos! V limited on site and confusing on surrounding roads. Wasn't quite sure where I'd left it in the end which was fun next morning ...

Everything was clean. No real issues with that.
Mattresses were aging uncomfortable and lumpy.
Room smelled a bit musty until we aired it.

Location and was clean.
Don’t use any other facilities so not fair to comment.
Room was a bit tatty and could do with a makeover. Beds were a bit mobile and wobbly. Bathroom very basic. Car park was not adequate for size of hotel, it would be but it’s full of coaches, also only one disabled parking space for the entire hotel!
