Good location. The room was okay, spacious, could do with a little TLC. I never saw a member of staff, it seems to run like an Airbnb, with room keys in key safes in the reception area. Entrance is through a pub. Room was clean enough, and the bed was comfortable. It also wasn't too noisy overnight, despite being on a busy road, but then again I sleep with an eye mask and Bluetooth headphones. The cost was okay, perhaps pushing it a little for the quality of the place. It could be really nice.
There appear to be no staff around. Another guest was desperately trying to get in touch with staff using the number in reception but no answer. I wasn't particularly happy about the lock on the room door. Some of the plug sockets in the room did not work. The room was very hot, with restricted opening on the three large sash windows. I messaged asking if the fan was available but no response. The only messages I seemed to get were automated ones. The shower didn't work very well, and no hot water coming through the taps. When I put the plug in the bathtub, I couldn't get it out again.
