Nestled in Ouray, this charming condo for $250 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. ***Book Today for Only $300 Down at the Time of Booking*** STR Permit #2024-1041 Our newly renovated 2 bedrooms, 1 bath condo is all about its exceptional location. Located one block from Main Street in the heart of Ouray, this condo is just a short walk to everything that Ouray has to offer! Bed Configuration: Master Bedroom - Queen Bed 2nd Bedroom - 2 Twin Beds This 2nd-story condo, coined Laughing Magpie, is nicely decorated. It features floor-to-ceiling windows, which provide tons of natural light and spectacular views of the surrounding peaks, a nicely equipped kitchen with a gas fireplace, and a deck outfitted with a gas grill that is perfect for cooking on while enjoying the scenery. Laughing Magpie has all new kitchen appliances (it does not have a dishwasher), a full bathroom remodel was completed in December 2022 and it is also equipped with A/C. Although this unit doesn't have a dedicated washer and dryer, there is coin-operated guest laundry in the complex's common area on the lower level of this building. There is plenty of street parking around and near the condo for trucks and ATV trailers. ABOUT THE AREA Ouray, Colorado, nestled at 7,800 feet, offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year! In the spring, summer, and fall months visitors enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing. You'll love the summer music series in Ouray's Fellin Park! In the winter months bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, or Nordic skis and enjoy downhill skiing in Telluride, a scenic 60-minute drive from Ouray! Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. After a day of adventure enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, and the ever-popular Ouray Hot Springs. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

The Laughing Magpie was the perfect place for our family of four. Cozy, comfortable, and clean. It was a welcome refuge after eventful days of hiking, shopping, touring, and exploring. Check-in and check-out were easy compared to some of the other methods we’ve experienced in the past. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting a simple, cozy place to stay.

We stayed for a long weekend with our daughter and their wife. If you can't do stairs, this is NOT the condo for you. It is on the smaller side with an apartment size refrigerator and stove, but we made it work. The gas woodstove was perfect for our wintery stay. Check-in was hampered due to our struggle with the lock and we did not have any cell phone reception in order to get in touch with the management. We finally figured it out and all was good. The shower does run VERY hot, but with a little finesse we adjusted it to what worked for us.
Location is one block to the main street and lots of shopping, restaurants and a fantastic wine bar!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Laughing Magpie. Very comfortable and well equipped. Location was perfect for all we wanted to do. Fall colors were beautiful at our time there. We did off-roading until mid day, then enjoyed the town the rest of the day.. Easy walk to local restaurants, etc. Ouray has so much to offer. Wish we could have stayed longer.

My group of four adults enjoyed our stay at this quaint two bedroom condo in Ouray. It was walking distance to the shops and restaurants. An easy drive to the waterfall and other trailheads (even though it's close to the trails, it's best to drive as there isn't a shoulder to walk on.) FYI that almost all businesses close by 9pm.

Disappointed about the bedding
1) the small twin beds were both very wobbly, impossible to sleep in. Some trash from the previous stay.
2) you do get burned with the shower before you figure it out.
3) i couldn't watch the regular channels on the tv.

We stayed at this condo for 5 nights this month. The location is excellent, close to restaurants and shops. Ouray is lovely and close to Telluride, Silverton, and not far from Black Canyon of the Gunnison. The condo is well equipped, although we did not cook there. It was clean, although furniture is a bit worn. It was very hot during our stay and we would return in the afternoons to a very warm unit--85 or higher. There are lots of windows and skylights. The a/c had trouble cooling the unit. We opened the windows at night and by 3-4 am it would cool down. There are 28 steps in all up to the unit and bringing items in and out was a chore. The bathtub is a claw foot model with a rigged up shower and slippery floor.

Convenient and close to town
Lovely condo a few steps from downtown. The condo is great for a stay in Ouray. It has all the basics you could need and is very comfortable. Laundry is a few steps away. Our only dislikes were the skylight over the bed, and the kitchen could use a few more cooking prep items. Would definitely stay again.
