The master has a king bed and television, while the 2nd bedroom has a queen. The couch in the living room pulls out as a hide abed. We are nestled on the Uncompahgre River, with outdoor seating beside the river to enjoy the spectacular sights and sounds. Finally, look up... The mountain views from this property are spectacular!

The place was as described, except the views were even better! When we arrived, the unit was stinky, which we discovered was because there was stuff in the kitchen disposal. We ran hot water and the disposal and problem solved.
The unit was comfy, cozy and dog friendly. We walked to everything, which we loved.

Cam’s places are just as advertised. Furniture is a little dated, but overall in good shape. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will stay there again. One of the better stays with VRBO we’ve had.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Ice Axe condo! There was plenty of space for our family of four and our dog. The condo was very clean and fully stocked with everything we need. The location was great - walking distance to town and also to the ice park. We will be back!

ironically the welcome letter says we have 5 condo's on the site, please be respectful of other guests privacy.
If you want to sleep at night avoid the Ice Axe suite as the metal staircase with 19 steps that allows access to the upper levels 2 x 3 bedroom suites, is attached to the wall that shares the headboard in the king bed in the bedroom. When anyone goes up or down the stair the noise is similar to someone hitting the metal hull of a ship with a sledge hammer, yes coupled with the vibration. The suite in itself was nice with great supply of detergents, cleaning supplies and paper products. Would be nice to have instruction on what to do with the recycling as there was a bin in the room and we left it there full. According to some other comments on the in room guest book, the toilets are small( need the elongated ones) and low. Some suggestions for the kitchen.
Get a knife block with knifes, storing then in the drawers makes them dangerous and dulls them up really quick. Instead of the standard sharpening steel suggest you get a 3 in 1 kitchen knife sharpener from Amazon for $ 13.99.
Also a cheese grater and a cheese slicer and plastic kitchen service spoons would be nice. Great selection of spices were available in the kitchen. The cutlery was a bit of a mismatch. Some plates and glassware were chipped and should be discarded. I am sure the location is great in the summer with access to Jeep tours and hiking trails.

The property is clean and convenient. The kitchen is well stocked. Our only disappointment was the noise upstairs. It was very noisy with banging and walking across the ceiling until late at night. The condo needs better insulation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ouray. Our condo was much roomier than we thought it would be. My sister enjoyed sitting above the river drinking her wine. Our dog enjoyed the the nice big grassy area in front of the condo. I got a chance to catch up on laundry. The shops in town were fun and quirky and reasonably priced. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we used the grill outside to make dinner. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Nice size and very clean condo. Excellent parking and good proximity to Main Street. Great sound of the river adjacent to the property, and a nice green grass yard. Plenty of chairs and tables to hang out. My only knock would be no sound insulation between rooms. I am sensitive to sound, and you hear everything in the adjacent and above condos. Bring ear plugs and you will be fine. Otherwise great.

Loved the location and the Mountain View! We also enjoyed hearing the river. Every evening we had a couple of deer come thru our front yard. Great parking for our Jeep, truck & trailer.

Thanks for allowing pets. Most of the other guests had pets as well so it was nice for them play. The sound of the river was peaceful. The place was super clean and the king bed was comfy.

Living room couch was un-useable, it sagged badly when you sat on it. Window in second bedroom was held up by a wooden stick. Front door was hanging low and scraped frame, hinge screws are loose. Second bedroom and bathroom door hinges squeaked loudly . I lubed them and they were ok for a few days. Second bedroom bed was very uncomfortable. A lot of noise from upstairs residents. Did not have a good time!

The property was very clean and well appointed for our two couples traveling thru Colorado. The apartment was located just as you arrive into Ouray and next to the river. The bathrooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable and everything worked well! Easy self entry with code provided. Highly recommend!

My wife and I loved our stay in the Nordic! The place was clean, bed comfortable, and has all the amenities you need. We enjoyed the first floor patio facing out to the lawn every morning for breakfast. Windows all have screens and we left the windows open the whole time we were there to enjoy the refreshing cool mountain air! Town is two blocks up the street and is entirely walkable. We would definitely choose this property again!

We had a great time at the Ice Axe condo! The location is absolutely beautiful next to the river with an easy stroll to main street. Condo was well equipped and clean with comfortable beds. Kitchen had all we needed for meals, and we sat at the picnic table outside to eat.
