Located in Bolivar Peninsula, this attractive house for $760 per night is a great choice for your next trip. **SPECIAL-Provided with each rental, 2 FREE PASSES to the heated swim up bar/pool at Margaritaville on the peninsula. Valid through 12/31/24. Not valid during holidays. ** La Mer is a charming spacious home. It is a 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom that sleeps 16. It is located on the second row in the Bluewater subdivision. La Mer has very spacious rooms. You’ll love the master bathroom that includes a huge tub to wind down and relax after a long day. It also has a large shower with dual shower heads. There is plenty of room in La Mer for the extended family. The kitchen has everything you would need to make the perfect meals for your vacation. This home also has satellite TV and WIFI for your convenience. La Mer has absolutely breath taking views from multiple decks. Not to mention it is just steps away from the beach! Don’t forget to rinse off in the down stairs shower after a fun beach day! **Even when provided, internet access/satellite TV/cell service can be UNRELIABLE on the BOLIVAR PENINSULA. We are a rural community and weather sensitive. We apologize, but Bolivar Escapes CANNOT GUARANTEE that these amenities WILL BE WORKING during your stay, and CANNOT OFFER REFUNDS for disruption of these services.** We provide linens and bath towels in every house and standard beds are made for your arrival. Paper products and cleaning supplies are not included. There is a starter pack consisting of the items below, please bring anything else you will need: 1 roll of paper towels 3 white kitchen trash bags 1 dishwasher tab (if applicable) 1 laundry tab (if applicable) 1 sponge 1 small dish soap 1 roll toilet paper per toilet Small bar hand soap Don't forget the beach towels, bug spray and sunscreen! Enjoy parasailing, sunset cruises, putt-putt, swim up bars, etc., on our beautiful peninsula! This home might have an outdoor camera(s) to monitor the exterior of the home. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the camera(s) is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nights’ rents. If a home has a lift or elevator, it is not for renter use unless otherwise stated in comments or with permission from Bolivar Escapes. Please note, the mapping may be off on some properties. La Mer is second row, but has amazing views! Our group consisted of five middle-aged couples. We were very comfortable, beds were great, the kitchen had most of what we needed. It does not have a crockpot, but we brought one from home, so it all worked out. There is a single cup coffee maker/Keurig as well as a regular coffee maker. Each bed comes with two towels & two wash clothes, so if you use a clean washcloth two times per day, you may want to bring extras. We had a wonderful stay and will gladly stay at this property if we make the trip again!

Overall we had a good trip, bedrooms and bathrooms were nice. We thought the kitchen was a little run down, floors need to be replaced. The refrigerator doesn't have any shelves in the door which was inconvenient because we have a big family and cooked a lot of meals there. It was harder to find things in the fridge. We also felt that porch and downstairs could of been cleaned better. We had to take time and hose things down on the bottom because someone had apparently had a crawfish boil below and it must of attracted more birds. Overall for the money we would probably stay somewhere else next time.

Had a very enjoyable time at this property. Location is awesome, just a very short walk to the beach. Kitchen was stocked surprisingly well for a rental. Stayed here with a total of 5 couples, every couple had their own room and were very comfortable.

We had a great week playing at the beach and visiting the local restaurants. The house was clean, just as described, and had plenty of room for the 10 of us that sleep there, plus 3 more that joined us during the days. We loved the deck to sit on in the evenings, as well as being able to walk to the beach. Will look to Bolivar Escapes next time we want to return for some vitamin Sea.

I had family in town visiting from Michigan that wanted some beach time while in town. We all had so much fun staying in this beach house! The house was the perfect size for 4 families + children. It was nice to be right on the water. We loved that we didn't have to load up the car and drag all our stuff out to the beach. The guys loved cooking on the grill and the kitchen had everything we needed. The view was gorgeous and we absolutely loved the breeze on the patio! Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our time at La Mer for a weekend getaway with four families. The decks are amazing to sit and watch the water, and the open kitchen living area was nice. Was very close to the beach, and the outdoor shower was convenient. We will likely be back in the future. Cons: kitchen floors will likely need work in the future. The pull out bed in the bunk room did not have sheets. We had to scrounge blankets from other beds for the child sleeping there.

Location is excellent. House and furnishings are nice. Only two complaints: When we arrived the water was shut off at a valve on the property. With no warning we were scrambling to try to find out how to get the water turned on. Just happened to luck into one of us finding it. Second - A circuit was out and so we had no light our power outlets in one of the bathrooms and in the upstairs hallway. Had to shower with a flashlight the whole stay.

The property is amazing. I don’t have 1 bad thing to say about it. My teenage boys enjoyed having their own room and being so close to the beach. On top of an amazing property we meet many amazing people. My kids enjoyed riding ATV’s and golf carts with other guest vacationing. The master bedroom were beyond my expectations. The outside balcony up and downstairs was extremely nice to sit on any time of day. The double beds in the two rooms were a booking plus for me as well as the proximity to the beach. Stop looking this is it!!!!!!!!!

The house was spotless when we arrived, exactly as advertised, and a great location. We rented La Mer for our family and another for Fathers Day weekend, and the whole experience was perfect. Thanks very much to Bolivar Escapes for managing the place so nicely!

The place was awesome and the best thing is the walking distance to the beach. The only thing negative was the kitchen needs little bit more pans and pots. Overall the house was clean and very specious. I definitely recommend this house if you have a big family.
