This Hotel is right in the middle of the old town and has that rustic Italian feel about it. It’s a pleasant place to relax with a 25 minute train into Rome, if you need to be in the hustle and bustle of city life. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. There is an abundance of places to eat out around the Hotel. This little gem of a place is also not overloaded with tourists, and we look forward to returning to the Colonna Hotel for another break in the near future.
We were a little disappointed that the bar was closed for some reason in the Hotel, but it wasn’t the end of the world, due to the surrounding establishments.

Great location in the center of Frascati.
The room had plenty of space for a solo traveler.
The furniture is good and the presence of many paintings is pleasant.
The staff is very friendly and satisfied all our requests.
The breakfast could have been better. It was kind of lacking in terms of salty food, and the sweet pastries didn't have a great variety.
The free WiFi works well but has a web-based authentication flow that requires re-authentication from time to time, which can be annoying.

The town is lovely and well worth the distance from Rome. The staff were polite and helpful.
The air-conditioning wasn’t great and I requested a bath but was not allowed to use it for “safety” reasons

The location are in the centre of piazza and walking distant to many cafe, bars, restaurants and shops. The Breakfast choice are really basic, typical 3 stars breakfast spread establishment. The room are decent and clean (which are important) There is no lift so if you with heavy luggage, be ready to carry it up some staircases.
The main door close at night. You have to use the side door to exit and enter at night. No reception available after midnight, the breakfast choice can be a bit better. When we arrived the reception didn't tell us there have a garage to park guest car. The shower cubicles, if you are over 180cm tall you have to 'duck' .
