Ik had toevallig 2maal gereserveerd op mijn naam Pletinckx Ann en eens op Pierquin . Geen ervaring was de eerste maal dat ik reserveerde in mijn leven. Maar toch 2 maal aangerekend geweest Spijtig dat we 1 reservatie niet weer gestord gekregen hebben.

Une grande et belle bâtisse de ville côté rue, avec une fois la porte passée, différents niveaux, une petite cour intérieure, une déco originale et une terrasse donnant sur un jardin et la piscine. Chambre spacieuse, confortable et bien équipée, accueil adorable et attentionné, petit déjeuner top. Avons choisi de dîner les 2 soirs sur place, repas copieux et délicieux. De plus, le village et ses alentours (Charroux) sont charmants, beaucoup de randonnées. Et l'occasion également d'échanger avec des hôtes qui partagent la même idée du voyage : rencontres, simplicité, convivialité. Un grand merci à Emmanuel et Juan (et au gardien des lieux, le chien Hulk), ne changez rien !

The room was a good size for us. Newly decorated and thought taken over the decor and soft furnishings. Greeted by owner on arrival. Our dog made welcome. The outdoor area and pool were very pleasant with towels provided for guests.
No hotel signage so difficult to locate. Big dogs guarding hotel door on arrival (although we were earlier than we’d stated). Only tap water in room. No other drinks available. No shower gel/shampoo. Worst for us was the weather was very warm (summertime) but there was no aircon which we appreciate as it is a querky old French building (which we loved) - however, no room fans where provided. So at temperatures over 37 degrees, we were unable to sleep at all! There was simply no where to be cool. Also, a group of other guests sat around the pool area, outside our bedroom window until the early hours. They where very noisy. At no point did the owners request the quiet down and respect other guests. Although the hotel is very unique, we would not recommend nor return.
