Then it's time for your nature fix, enjoying one of the many hiking or cross-country skiing trails, ice skating, or some downhills at Bousquet Ski Resort, only five minutes away. As the weather warms up, the pond offers boating, swimming and fishing and two kayaks are available for you to explore. Back home at the end of your outing, create a home-cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen or order some takeout from any of the areas excellent restaurants. Then enjoy dinner together in the large open and airy dining area with its cathedral ceiling and skylights, which let in plenty of natural light. Great visit for 2 parents and 2 teens. Kitchen well stocked. Big bathrooms, lots of windows, comfortable couches and mattresses. Will stay again when in Western Massachusetts.

We had a great time at Kathleen’s cottage. The common areas (dining, living room) are bigger than we expected. The living room furniture is very comfortable. As others have stated, the bedrooms are small but beds are comfortable and it worked well for us. The cottage is very well shaded and the outdoor deck is lovely. There’s a small backyard and our kids enjoyed playing back there. There are kayaks available although we didn’t have the chance to use them. We were pleased that there was a window AC unit which we were not expecting - a plus as it was hot during our stay. Lots of towels, linens and beach towels. The washer/dryer was great to have. Note for anyone with mobility issues - there are either a few steps or a walk across the lawn to get into the house. My older parents stayed with us 2 nights and while they managed it was a touch difficult for them. Kathleen was very responsive and we would absolutely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!!

Nice layout and common areas. Bedrooms and bathrooms are really small. The location is very nice, across from the lake and convenient to the association and town beaches, and convenient to Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, hiking, etc.

Lovely and cozy home centrally located in Berkshire County. Kathleen was easily available and communication with her was very pleasant and helpful. We had an enjoyable stay and would absolutely consider returning in the future.

Great location to ski mountains, nearby to town, and an orchard is only about a mile away with the best donuts! This house fit 6 of us comfortably, and was stocked with supplies/kitchen gadgets. We would stay here again for sure! Thank you Kathleen

very well kept up and comfortable 3 BR 2 Bath home one block from picturesque pond. Perfect for two couples or a family. beds comfortable. well stocked kitchen. owners very responsive. short walk to a neighborhood beach. Close ride to Pittsfield and Lenox.

The property is well situated in a quiet lake community. It has a definite and pleasant cottage feel with everything needed for a relaxing stay. There are ski racks just inside the door and a place for ski boots which was handy for us. The dining area has many windows and is a great spot for meals. The location couldn't be better for those looking for a base to visit the area.

This three bedroom house was charming, comfortable, and convenient to all that we do in the Berkshires. We took great walks around the friendly neighborhood, including a walk in the woods, and a walk along the wetlands where we saw a Blue Heron and chickens on our way to the beach at Richmond Pond. Tanglewood, Barrington Stage, Hancock Shaker Village, The Mount, and The Foundry in West Stockbridge were all close by. Communicating with the hosts was a breeze. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time in this nice quite house. The bedrooms are small, but beds are new and comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen and nice deck with a new grill. Over all the place is much larger and airy than we expected from the pictures.

We stayed for 4 days, 3 nights for a ski trip and it was perfect! The house is beautiful, it was 5 minutes to Bousquet mountain, and Kathy made checking in and out a breeze! There is a beautiful pond across the street, perfect for both summer and winter activities. We will absolutely be going back again. Thanks Kathy and Ken!!
