The Amodari Suites on the beach was a lovely place to stay for 7 nights in September 2026. The apartments are down a twisting metalled road about 20 minutes from Naxos port. You will need a car. Plenty of free car parking and the apartments themselves look fairly recently built. The beach is a short (2 minute) walk away and the pool is delightful with sun loungers and a bar/snack bar that stays open from 8am until 8pm serving breakfast, snacks and light meals – and drinks. At night I noticed there was also a ‘watchman’ keeping an eye on things. The location is quiet, but within a 2 minute drive is a gorgeous bakery serving croissants/coffee and so on. However, the nearest supermarket is a ten-minute drive away at the Margaritis supermarket.
What is good: The apartment was a reasonable size with a table for working, a comfortable double bed, hanging space for clothes and shelves for storing things. Good lighting, a nice balcony with a pool view (and sunset view!). the bathroom had a good shower and washbasin and generally had hot (sometimes only warm) water. Room service was excellent. The room was cleaned each day and sheets changed about every three days. Fresh towels were also provided several times during my week’s stay. There was a small kitchenette with a fridge, hob and sink and cupboards with some crockery, pans and cutlery.
What could be better: Small details matter. There was no kettle. There was no toaster. The fridge had a broken door interior limiting storage for bottles. The crockery was poor. There was no mug (I bought my own) and a limited assortment of unmatched plates cups and bowls. My apartment also had no wine glass and no knives. I asked for these and they were provided immediately. The hangars for clothing did not fit the rails properly. And my biggest grumble – the wi-fi speed was really slow and unreliable.
Overall, this is a great place to stay. I paid £404 for 7 nights nights – great value. If the owner (who speaks good English) can attend to these small items it would get 100% from me.

Friendly family run studios. Lovely that he picked us up & dropped us at the bus terminal, Very clean, comfy bed, lovely sunset/ seaview from balcony. Literally 2 minutes walk to plaka beach, great breakfast, drinks & snacks round the pool.
Thankyou for a lovely stay.
We didn't hire a car, so limited restaurants for evening meal. But we enjoyed a bottle of wine and snacks watching the sunset from our balcony.
Would be great to have a kettle in the room. Rather than boiling water in a pan !

First of all, the owner is a gentleman: Nice and welcoming personn.
Then the studio was very clean ( a nice woman come every day to tidy the place) and well laid out with a beautiful view on the beach ( 40 meters far so , really enjoyable)
The situation is perfect, wild Plaka beach far from the noisy and busy areas.
I recommend this place 150%)
Nothing ( maybe 1 little pan more and 1 boiler would be welcome but nothing really important)
