Bien placé à proximité de l’aéroport. Logement petit mais fonctionnel. À proximité direct de la voie rapide. Idéal pour visiter une partie de l’île

We stayed for 9 nights here! Hosts are very kind and they communicated with us throughout all the staying. For example, we requested a thicker blanket and shower gel to be refilled and they helped us asap. We had all the facilities needed and if necessary, we could even cook. It wasn’t the case for us because we ate in the city all the time, but the important thing was that we had all we needed in the kitchen+ they left some home-made presents on the table which was a nice gesture. The hosts really thought of every small detail and this is very important so we left with a good impression
The accomodation is very close to the airport (20-25 mins walk) and we didn’t need to take a uber, we just had a pleasant walk when we arrived/left. The road is very walkable, even though we had trollers so no worries about that
The accomodation is very close to the airport (20-25 mins walk). This was a disadvantage as well because the city has few ubers and it is hard to go to the city center without your own rented car (you can walk but in the night, the area doesn’t seem too pleasant to walk; don’t get me wrong-it’s not dangerous either, nothing happened to us- but there were strange people in the street and as a female, it was a bit unconfortable)
Another thing is that Azores has a wet climate so the clothes do not dry very fast and they can feel a bit wet all the time
Of course, both of these “disadvantages” are not our hosts fault, I left these here just for the people to know what to expect when they come here.
The apartment is a bit old, it’s very clean, but the furniture is a bit old. There were noises from our neigbourghs, planes flying above and cars passing on the street, but we are not bothered from this kind of noises in general și we were good.
