Situated in Chatuge Lake, this lovely house for $495 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Beautiful lakefront home on pristine Lake Chatuge nestled in small cove in between Hiawassee and Hayesville. This home offers a private covered dock with safe swimming as there is very little boat traffic and waves. The lot and driveway are flat so no 4-wheel drive needed and there is a garage for easy parking. The back yard is flat with grass for games for the entire family! There is a short brick path from the house to the dock. There is a fabulous fire pit near the dock for campfires, storytelling, and making s’mores! On the main level, there is a living room with a gas fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen to prepare a large family meal to be served in the dining room which seats 8. The master suite is located on the main level with a king sized comfy tempur pedic bed, flat screen TV, large bathroom, his and hers separate closet spaces, and direct access to the back porch. There are 2 other bedrooms on the main level with queen beds that share a bathroom across the hall. If you must work while at the lake, there is an office with a desk and beautiful view of the lake and mountains. High speed internet/ WIFI/live streaming TV provided. The large upstairs porch is the highlight of the house with a swinging loveseat, dining table, gas grill, and stunning views. On the terrace level, the family room has a wood burning fireplace and an extra-large couch for family movies that also contains a pull-out full-sized bed. There is one bedroom with twin beds if the kids want their own play area. The terrace level features an interchangeable pool/ping pong table as well as a card/poker table. It also has a 2nd kitchen, fridge, sink and dining table so you don’t need to run back upstairs for snacks. If you decide to bring a boat with you there is room on the dock with buoys. There are several excellent boat rentals in the area including Boundary Waters, Young Harris Water Sports, and Lake Chatuge Marine. We have multiple life vests for you to use while boating and swimming. Other provided activities include cornhole, bocce ball, frisbee, and football. Check out Bell Mountain for breathtaking views, Brasstown Bald- the highest point in Georgia, Jackrabbit Mountain Recreation Area for hikes and mountain biking (less than a mile), Chatuge Dam, and many wineries in the area!

We visit Lake Chatuge often and truly enjoyed this beautiful home . The fall leaves were gorgeous right from the deck and the home was extremely comfortable with lots of room .

The location of the Lake Home was great. Easy access, plenty of parking, level lot to the boat dock which made it easy for the Seniors to walk to. Would stay again.

The home was absolutely amazing! Everything from the bedrooms to the bathrooms, the big game room with tons of seating, and a massive back patio with beautiful views. The house was in a private community, felt safe, secluded, and very comfortable!

Clean and neat. Good space for you family of 10. Well stocked and plenty of equipment to have fun on. Ony problem beds not to comfortable in guest bedrooms. Big problem with stove first morning, but 3 people came to fix. Overall beautiful home.

We live in Hiawassee and wanted a staycation on the lake so we could bring our boat. We had the best time and this house was super spacious and accommodating

We LOVED this property! It was very luxurious & had the best location. The place was clean, and felt like home. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed that fabulous screened in deck area for all our meals! We will be back!! Thank you!!

Great location and very nice accommodations. Kayaks were a real hit with the kids and the cove this house is on is quite with little traffic which made it great to lay out on rafts. Plenty of room and a nice fire pit by the water. Just remember to bring or buy your own wood for fires

We found this house to be perfect for us - 2 grandparents - 2 parents and 2 kids. Upgraded home finishes and appliances. Beds were comfortable. The screened porch is awesome. The kids caught lots of little brim off the dock. Good home base to bring your ski boat and enjoy the lake!

We've stayed in many different homes in the area on the lake and they were all so busy. This was tucked into a cove and was very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views and the house worked out great for our family. We will definitely book again for our future trips.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The location is very peaceful with little to no boat traffic and a nice dock which was perfect for our two personal watercrafts. It was our first time on Lake Chatuge and we enjoyed every minute spent, it is paradise there. A few maintainance hiccups (which were quickly handled by the property manager) and the non common areas like the garage and storage room were a bit messy are my reasons not not giving five stars. That said we would stay here again.
