The cowhouse has a lovely, cozy, quintessentially English vibe, which we loved. There were beautiful details such as:
- local cookies
- an abundance of coffee
- a recommendations book
- beautiful finishes
- a traditional aga
In an ideal world, there would be some more lounge space downstairs or a comfortable sofa to watch the TV. As for us, we are not people that watch TV in bed.

Lovely little cottage in the heart of Whitby. Very quaint and cosy. Milk and biscuits were a lovely touch by the host.
Easy to find and in the centre so perfect for walking round Whitby in either direction. Would definitely stay again.
Would have loved a telly in the kitchen purely so we didn't risk spilling morning coffee on the bed. This isn't a negative though, it did not take anything away from our stay.
