Situated in Shaver Lake, this charming cabin for $166 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some much needed fresh air in this relaxing mountain retreat. This charming, two story cabin, is located on a hillside in the West Village of Shaver Lake, just a 5 minute walk to downtown. With an updated kitchen, gas fireplace and washer/dryer, this three bedroom/two bathroom home has everything you need to create great memories for you and your family. Downstairs you will find a modern kitchen, family room, bathroom and small bedroom with a full size bed. Enjoy some hot chocolate and popcorn as you cuddle up on the couch next to the gas fireplace and play board games or watch movies on the 50" flat screen TV (with DVD player). Large windows look out onto the front porch, which sits high in the trees, providing beautiful views in a relaxing setting. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with queen beds, including a large master bedroom. In addition, there is a bathroom and bonus area with a pull out, full size, futon. A large back deck provides a perfect place for kids activities while the adults enjoy relaxing on the front deck. This cabin is an ideal getaway for a family or two couples. Only minutes to the lake and 20 miles to China Peak, the opportunities abound. The stairs you climb to get to the cabin may be taxing, but the good things in life are worth the effort. Our stay was exceptional. This cabin was cozy and comfortable. The hosts were very responsive to questions I had prior to our arrival. The cabin was very clean and well appointed all the way around. The beds and sofas were all comfortable. The linens and towels were clean and I appreciated extra blankets to cuddle up on the couch. . The layout of the cabin allowed all 5 people to enjoy their own space while still enjoying time together. Everyone in our party was impressed with the cabin and looks forward to coming back. We had a great time here! The cabin was clean and cozy and check-in is super easy. The owner/host was so nice! The location is perfect to walk to one of the local restaurants. China Peak is about 25 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

Every year my husband and I take our family to Shaver Lake for New Years. We usually stay at a friend's cabin but they recently sold it. This was our first time using VRBO, I was very hesitant but I am so glad we gave it a shot. This was a wonderful experience. The cabin was as described (actually better in person). It was clean, cozy, had everything we needed and more. Check in/out was smooth. Hosts were very nice and available if needed. We actually woke up to a winter wonderland this morning so much snow. We were nervous pulling out but the neighbors were so friendly and helpful. This was a wonderful place to stay. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home with us. We hope to stay again sometime.

This place was absolutely beautiful, the locations, neighborhoods and walking distance to everything that you need. The place was very clean and was accommodating for our family of 5. You will not regret staying here, just like all the reviews said, it’s a five start cabin.

A couple of things to note. If you book in the summer months there is no A/C. Got a little stuffy inside but not terrible. Also, if you are over 5’6” tall the shower can be challenging. I am 6’3” and the shower head was hitting me square in the chest.
Overall very pleased. There was a water issue with the town (not the owner’s fault) and he reimbursed us fully for the water we had to buy to make coffee, etc. Cool move by him. Much appreciated

Beautiful cozy cabin amongst the pine trees. Great front deck with a nice view and great back deck with a nice view. Plenty of games inside which we took advantage of, an overall relaxing and comfortable time. I would love to stay there again in the future.

Really enjoyed the property. The cornhole and swing out back were wonderful. The cabin is very comfy and inviting. Only thing I would say is the stairs up to the second story are a little steep and the water heater only has enough hot water for a couple short showers, so if you have a large group, you'll want to stagger your showers accordingly.

The cabin was perfect! The resort didn’t end up opening all weekend at all but we made the best of it and really enjoyed our time here! Christian had everything ready to go and was shoveling the driveway shoveled when we arrived! We definitely recommend the Lazy Lady to anyone looking to come here in the future!

Our family of four had a wonderful ski vacation! Thoughtfulness is infused into every detail of this adorable cabin. Cozy blankets, clear check-in instructions and a spotless cabin made our arrival spectacular. The cute kitchen has all the cooking gear you will need, and local restaurants are just a five minute walk away. The video and book selections were a hit with our teen and ten year old. You can tell the libraries have been thoughtfully curated with a range of ages and preferences in mind. We highly recommend this one!

This cabin is fully stocked with everything you could need! We made part of our Thanksgiving meal here and we were able to find everything we needed (that we forgot from home). The rooms were great, clean towels for all guests, plenty of room for everyone. This cabin was fun for the kids outside! Loved the ski lift chair swing! There was just enough snow for the kids to have fun and if we weren’t so busy we could’ve walked right into town. The only tricky parts were the driveway which was just a little tricky to get into and 27 stairs up to the cabin, but the hosts gave great instructions for those things and everything else. Very pleased with our stay! Thank you!

Only down fall is having to climb up and down the stairs, but once you get everything you braught inside the rest of the experience is great! No weird vibes from the place the entire time. Great views from all around the decks and every level in the house. Place seems to hold heat very well.. I am a very critical person in how I like my living place to be and I had a hard time finding things to improve lol. I'd recommend asking the owner if there already is certain items available before buying or bringing because there was lots of common household things already there!
Would love to visit again but with lots of snow.. The private driveway looks like it wound make a nice path for sledding!

Couldn’t have been happier with our accommodations. We spent every day at the lake and evenings at Dorabella campground but it was wonderful to come back to our house afterwards. Everything we needed was there and we had no problem communicating with owner. Hope to come back next year
