The room was so pretty, it made me happy just to sit in it. Sitting on the bed looking at the sea was a treat. i went for a walk and found a lovely cafe with an art gallery in it, and a shop selling vinyl records (near HastingsWS). If you like collecting vinyl and memorabilia, you will absolutely love it.
The negative is it was a bit noisy because of single-glazing windows and on a reasonably busy road. Earplugs were provided, and the view and sea air was worth it.

The room was light, airy and spacious with a lovely view overlooking the sea. Conveniently located if you are visiting central St. Leonards-on-Sea.
There were no staff around and the bistro was closed. I mistakenly assumed that breakfast would be included, it wasn't (my bad), though could find nice cafe's within a short walk. The road noise at night could be intrusive, though we were provided with ear plugs by the proprietors.

The hotel was unmanned in the night.
The beds were really uncomfortable. The wardrobe was boarded up and couldn't be opened
