Doug's place is so nice. This was actually our second visit to Doug's place and we will stay again when we are in Mountain City to visit family. Doug is very responsive to any questions we had. Safe neighborhood and a very clean home. If you are in the area this is the place to stay.

Just what I needed, great location

Everything you need for a get away. It was perfect. We really enjoyed being so close to everything from Quilt Shop hopping in Franklin NC, to all the views and great food in Clayton. We’ll be back!

We really enjoyed staying at Doug's cabin. The location was perfect for all the things we wanted to do. The decor of the cabin was beautiful. Everything was modern inside which I love and the deck was great to sit on at night. We even had a bunny friend that visited us the last night. The only issue, which honestly I don't think anything can be done about but I do have to worn animal lovers like ourselves is the dogs that the neighbors leave outside all day and night. The last night we were there it sounded like one of them got attacked by something and it was crying horribly. It broke my heart. So if you are animal lovers this may bother you as it did us. Other than that, no other issues. Thank you again for letting us stay at your cozy cabin.

We Loved our stay in this unique cabin . It was just as pictures presented. We will definitely be back . The location is Perfect close to Downtown Clayton . The Church Chimes and Bell ringing was an added Beauty. It was very clean and comfortable beds.
