Cloakroom: The handy downstairs W.C. has a toilet, hand basin, vanity unit with a mirror, and a heated towel rail. We have stayed at Maple House before (and have booked again for next year!) so we knew what to expect. The house is the perfect size for the 8 adults and 3 tiny kids (plus the dog). The hot tub is the icing on the cake!

We stayed here as a family group of eight people. Maple House was in an ideal location and very clean, warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Everyone had their own bathroom which worked really well. The hot tub was also very popular. My only (minor) criticism would be that for a house at this price there would be a few extra touches. The stairgate, which we were asked to use to keep our dog downstairs, didn't work due to missing cups. We had to prop it up to stop the dog going upstairs which was fine, but wouldn't have worked with a child as they would have pulled it over. There was only one tea towel for the house, a limited number of dishwasher tablets and no washing up liquid or washing powder. These have always been provided in other houses at this price point. The local pub (20m away) was fabulous. Would definitely recommend and we would stay here again.

Stayed here with family for a big birthday celebration. Super comfy house but did have an issue with the hot tub which unfortunately wasn’t resolved during our stay despite the owner coming out to have a look. This was a little disappointing but nevertheless we all had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this house. Plus it is a stones throw from the lovely Ebrington Arms - we ate here twice and would highly recommend. Super friendly staff, great food in a lively setting.

The house was great, it was nice to arrive with the heating on and the Christmas decorations up which made it really cosy and welcoming. There was plenty of space in all of the rooms and comfy seating for the whole group in the lounge and kitchen. Having plenty of parking was also helpful as the group had travelled from different places. The spot was really quiet and private and we didn't feel overlooked when using the hot tub. The pub next door had a great atmosphere and although we didn't eat there the food looked amazing. We did visit the farm shop and cafe and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast. We had a query about the hot tub which was quickly answered by the house manager, and they were very accommodating to our requests. The information pack provided in advance was really helpful and made it easy to find the place and the keys, and the benefit of self check in meant you didn't have to worry about arriving at a set time.

I would thoroughly recommend Maple House. We were a party of 6 adults and 4 children but at no time felt cramped.
