Evergreen
Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room. Decorated really nice. Not hard to find. Close to everything. We would definitely stay again.
Only fault we found was the water pressure. But we could tell that they have been working on things. So I'm sure it's on the list of to-dos.

Location was fabulous, quirky but workable home.
The location of this place is the best thing going for it. So close and easy to get to anything. The extra bathrooms downstairs was a big plus. Quick response to questions via text. Front porch was a nice place to enjoy breakfast in the morning to plan the day. Loved the fireplaces, although we didn't use them, they would be perfect in the fall and winter. Plenty of parking if you had more than one car.
The dusty floral arrangements, the kitchen could have been cleaner and more updated. We tried to use the oven one night and it failed to work. It was too late to call and report it. The refrigerator would knock at odd times, the first night at 3 a.m. Since it is not being used as a bed and breakfast, I think having more living room/family room seating would have made a big difference rather than a lot of tables and chairs. The lighting was not great in the tub/shower area, once the shower curtains were pulled you were in semi darkness.

Passable
Due to Covid, we got the whole place to ourselves. There was Wifi and a kitchen, 2 bedrooms upstairs, and 2 twin-sized beds downstairs. It was bigger than we needed honestly. Plus, I called to ask about the password for the wifi and the woman who spoke to me was very nice. She was eager to let me know about the history of the house and how it was 100 years old and how they tried to restore its conditions. So it was nice to know a bit about the history.
I probably just did not do a great job researching the place, because I was worried about not being able to find places to book in time. But, the whole process was very confusing. I didn't know if it was an apartment or a cottage or a cabin. It was listed as all three in different places. So part of me was upset because I probably could have found a smaller place for cheaper. We were told there are dishwashers in every kitchen in all their cottages, and ours did have a dishwasher but it didn't work. Which is fine but was not brought up anywhere. I do not believe in ghosts, but it did feel very unsettling. I had a hard time being comfortable. It is an old house, so the stairs are really creaky and the floors of the upstairs bedrooms feel very warped. But the main problem was the ant problem. I understand that there will be bugs in places, so I did not have a problem with that. But there was an ant problem in the kitchen really bad. When washing dishes, we were left covered in tiny black ants. We had to keep all food in the fridge including chips and cereal. Also, they said that they provided dish soap and I did not see any, maybe I did not do a good enough job looking but just putting it out there. There is also only like one fork and maybe 2 or 3 spoons so if you want to go here, bring silverware. There was also a gas stove not that anything is wrong with that, just informing you because I was not sure what would be included. It was really hard to know what the place was going to be like at all.
