Situated in Bluewater, this attractive house for $174 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Wander stone walkways through shaded gardens...Grab your favorite book and unwind in large gardens. You are a short 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to Main street. INSIDE The eat-in kitchen is clean and bright with everything you need to prepare meals in. Fridge,Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher etc. Seating for 4 at the table and lots more outside. Let the little ones have their own space to play in the downstairs living area, or gather here for conversation beside the gas fireplace before heading to bed. Upstairs you'll find a newly renovated kitchen, hardwood floors, air conditioning and another living room. The Living room has a TV with Firestick so you can login to your own Netflix account/Disney, Plus a DVD player with a selection of DVDs SLEEPING SPACES The cottage sleeps up to 7 in 3 bedrooms BR #1 Queen bed BR#2 Queen bed BR #3 2 twin bed Rec Room downstairs has a pullout sofa and sleeper sofa. Bathroom #1: 4 piece upstairs Bathroom #2: 3 piece downstairs OUTSIDE Save warm nights for laughing with friends over a bottle of red on the deck while gathered around the outdoor fire pit. Features large backyard for the kids to run around. Lake access is a short walk to Tuyll street. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all. NOTE: Parking is limited to 4 vehicles Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels. Take a 10 minute stroll to village downtown to fine exquisite dining restaurants/bars and cafes, from pub fare to fine dining. Many boutique shops to browse that unique find, or one-of-a-kind art pieces. Or take a bike ride and see the sights of Bayfield, such as the splash pad at Clan Gregor Sq. or Pioneer park for a pickup game of volleyball, or the shores of gorgeous Lake Huron for a beach day and follow up with the best sunsets in Ontario! Bring your kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, boat, hiking shoes and escape to some good adventures and make memories! Visit during the off-season to catch favorite annual events like VetteFest or for a girl's getaway weekend—we're happy to suggest our favorite local spas, wineries and breweries, shops, and yoga classes. Bayfield is a "Blue Community" – visitors won't find bottled water in public facilities or at events but they will find a portable refillable water bottle station operated by pedal-power and five water bottle refill stations at public facilities located throughout the village. Spacious clean quiet home just minutes from the lake. Backyard is enormous. Room to spread out with lots of shade and space for sun bathers. Gated deck is perfect for your pooch. Wonderful spot to stay for your visit in Bayfield.

Sunny Gardens provided a clean, quiet and well equipped vacation spot. The backyard area was beautifully landscaped with trees and flowers. It was located a short from the restaurants and shops and the grocery was nearby as well. The only negatives were a few maintenance issues. There were light bulbs burnt out and the dishwasher did not work. Mirrors in the bedrooms would be appreciated.

We needed a place within 30 minutes of an out of town wedding venue. This location was perfect. Lots of bedrooms and two full bathrooms to help 5 people get ready in time. Lots more to do in Bayfield but we just didn’t have time. Nice quiet neighbourhood close to views of Lake Huron

Bayfield is a nice town with several restaurants. The cottage was nice. The beach was rocky in the water.

A perfect stay again

The house has everything you need for a relaxing vacation, and a beautiful large garden and deck. The house is in walking distance of the lake, and in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood. I would highly recommend this place as great way to get away from it all and unwind. Being pet friendly is also a plus.

Sunny Gardens is a wonderful place, very homey and Jennifer has made our stay very warm and welcoming. The backyard is so gorgeous, we could not stop taking pictures. I just wanted my family to experience Grand Bend Beach, but instead we discovered more of Bayfield. It is absolutely beautiful. Hopefully we will be coming back next year!

Spacious Cottage With Big Backyard!

We had a great stay in the sunny gardens cottage! Great sized cottage which can definitely handle more then my wife, two children and myself. Backyard is private and very large so we could play soccer and the kids could run around. It was only a short walk down to the beach which was very convenient. We also enjoyed the splash pad and park in Bayfield. We brought our bikes so it was only a short ride up to the park and business section of town! We had a great time and would recommend staying at the sunny gardens cottage to anyone!! Thanks again!

Our family had a wonderful stay

We really enjoyed this lovely, very clean property. The pictures online didn't quite do it justice. The backyard is very spacious and we enjoyed eating outside on the deck.The kitchen cupboards are well stocked, the fridge is a good size and the dishwasher is pretty quiet and works great. Having 2 full bathrooms was very helpful as there were six of us staying at this property. Jennifer kept in touch with us to make sure we had everything we needed which was so appreciated.

Wonderful stay in Bayfield

We really enjoyed our week in Sunny Gardens. The charming bungalow is well-equipped with everything you could need -- a full eat-in kitchen, comfy living room with a great selection of DVDs and puzzles for rainy days, a huge back deck and glorious garden with fire pit surrounded by Muskoka chairs. We loved having meals watching the birds, chipmunks and squirrels. The house is a super-easy walk to the lake, and about 15 minutes on foot to Bayfield's historic main street and Pioneer Park. We found lots to do in the area including nature trails, bike trails, cable wakeboarding at Windmill Lake, shopping, and exploring Huron County's many charming small towns. Looking forward to our next visit!

A memorable birthday vacay during the pandemic

We, a family of 3, had a much needed break for a week celebrating our daughter’s 7th at the Sunny Gardens cottage. They have a beautiful backyard which provided the perfect setup to put up some birthday decor and have a zoom party. The cottage was well equipped with all modern day comforts (A/C, wifi) and close enough to good beaches to have a great time. We felt very comfortable even before getting there due to Jennifer’s prompt communication and the due diligence done before renting the property out. We would love to come by again sometime soon.
