Friendly staff, amazing food and fresh juices, gift shop with prices 50% lower than at the temple, very pretty wall paintings and rugs.
It was a particularly hot week, so the AC had trouble keeping up with the temperature.

I loved the beautiful paintings and Nubian styled House. They organised an early morning boat ride which is one of the highlights of my trip. The breakfast was lovely as well

we really wanted an overnight stay to visit Abu Simbel in a quiet period - we arrived beginning afternoon & after an late lunch we went to Abu Simbel - from 15-17 it was so quiet and in the evening we saw a beautiful sound & light show! we arranged transport from Aswan - due to the ending of Ramadan - the public bus was full. it is next to busstation.
quiet expensive for Egyptian accomodation. the single (double) room was not so well
cleaned and had cockroaches in bathroom.
