Zeus Eretria Resort

The biggest highlight was that we were unexpectedly upgraded to a villa with a private pool. It was absolutely beautiful, and we are very grateful for this gesture—it truly made our holiday special. The resort itself is spacious, well-maintained, and very clean. The main pool is lovely, and the reception staff were always friendly and helpful. Another big advantage was that neither the pool nor the beach was crowded, so we could always find sunbeds without any problem

On the downside, the beach was not particularly impressive. In one section, water shoes are essential because of the rocky entrance, although there is a sandy area right next to it. Reaching the beach also requires crossing a busy main road, which is not very convenient, especially for families with young children. The resort is quite isolated, with virtually nothing within walking distance. We booked the all-inclusive package, and without it, I'm honestly not sure where we would have been able to buy food or drinks or go for lunch or dinner outside the resort. Unfortunately, the food and beverages were below expectations for a five-star resort. The quality was quite average, children's activities were very limited, and the restaurant staff were not particularly welcoming. We were also disappointed to learn that guests who book through Booking.com are not entitled to the complimentary dinner at the resort's à la carte restaurant, while guests who book through travel agencies receive one. This policy doesn't seem very fair. We usually spend our holidays in Turkey, and based on our experience, I would say this resort is comparable to an average or slightly below-average 3-star resort there, rather than a true 5-star property. While we appreciated the villa upgrade and the beautiful, peaceful surroundings, the overall experience did not meet our expectations for a five-star hotel.

Everything was perfect

The food was not good even the zero cola was terrible for some reason.

Good variety of choices of food, from salads to main dishes and desserts. Great ambience. A massive room and bathroom, very clean. The staff were very nice especially Mongga and Hossein (cart drivers), very helpful.

I was expecting a sea view accom on my choice as what was advertised. I was just a bit disappointed because it wasn't really a sea view from room 551 & 552. I think you should change the accom from seaview to a room with balcony (a nice big balcony). I just felt deceived. Otherwise, generally it was a great place to stay. I wished I have more time. We went for conference. I didn't have a chance to swim on their lovely swimming pool.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming; however, the hotel appeared to be significantly understaffed. The rooms were spacious, and the pool was large and exceptionally well-maintained.

The hotel is in need of significant renovation. The rooms were quite dirty—possibly due to our last-minute reservation. While the garden has great potential, it could benefit from more maintenance and care.
