Sea Foam Motel

I loved that this was oceanfront property. I loved that it was right on the beach and historical! The people there were friendly and there was a resident outdoor cat who oversaw the place spectacularly. The room was up to date and clean. The outside of the place was a bit rough, but it fit with the vintage feel and it was still homey and we loved it. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing was there were some roaches on the porch. We did not see any inside the hotel, but they were on the deck... probably not much they could do about that. There was also a broken air conditioner just sitting in front of our door and that was a little bit tacky, but it was fine.

The stairway was a bit narrow and treacherous at times, but it is an old hotel, so it was worth keeping with the vintage vibe. The roaches were unappealing, but like I said, they were only on the deck that we could see. If the showers had a bit more water pressure that would be nice.

Vintage feel. Right on beach. Clean and cleaned daily. Pool.

A few things could use attention- screen door, burned out light bulb, outlet that had a broken prong stuck in it.

Lack of consistency with hot water/seems to have plumbing issues

Location was great and the room for the price was decent too. Thought we found a great place to come back to but bugs are a deal breaker.

Found a large roach our last night. I can’t look past bugs like that. It’s unfortunate we can’t stay here again.
