The place is exactly as showing in the pictures, looks amazing with the wall murals and traditional Yucatan decorations. The bathroom is unique with open stone pipes where the water falls like rain or a waterfall in the jungle. The kitchen was perfect, we had everything we needed and more, including delicious ground coffee beans to enjoy in the morning. The outdoor area is incredible, like your own private slice of paradise and the pool refreshing and surrounded by an beautiful garden with geckos and all !!! The location perfect too for us, short walk to the central plaza, near great restaurants and bars but in a quiet and heritage area of town. No big commercial chains, real Yucatan shops and people. One of the bars we frequented and enjoyed greatly every time is calles El Cardenal Cantina, wow !!! What a treasure of real Yucatan night-life, I think we were the only non locals there and we felt welcomed by everyone. We would recommend staying at La Selva by Majikal B&B to anyone who wants to have a true experience of being in Merida, Yucatan !!!!
That we only had 4 nights there! We could have stayed for a whole month and enjoyed every minute!

Super nice people. Host and owner very nice! Very pro active. Gave us the codes. Wonderfull appartment. Stayed in Selva on the ground floor. Very nice. With nice garden. AC, fans, cooking facilities, coffee machine, mixer. Everything we needed. And very quiet. You hear no traffic. Perfect for a writer.

The apartment was decorated uniquely with an artsy vibe, comfortable bed, everything meticulously clean. The hosts were always very prompt responding to questions. The cleaning staff was friendly and thorough. Ten minute walk to the historic center. Neighborhood felt quiet and safe. Overall really nice accommodation.
