Bel établissement au calme dans un beau cadre. Près du Palace. C'est mieux qu'en ville. Le personnel est charmant et parle français. Un plus.

A very comfortable and relaxing place to stay, with the most friendly staff!

Quinta do Paço Hotel is an amazing place for a relaxing weekend. The staff is extremely friendly and always interested in helping, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the restaurant seems great (did not have the opportunity to try it). I definitely want to go back!

I wish there was a bit more place to walk inside the property and unfortunately the pool was not open yet.

Exceptional

This hotel is located very near to the Mateus winery. It exceeded our expectations. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful with plenty of space to walk around in the gardens and with excellent views. The room we were in was a pleasant surprise as we had excellent views via a outside covered area beyond the room with a covered balcony with 2 chairs and a table within it. The room was very large and very comfortable. The staff were very courteous and helpful and the parking was just outside the hotel reception. The hotel has a resident dog who nods his/her approval upon arrival !. (he/she has probably seen it all before !). Breakfast was excellent with hot and cold food available and fresh fruits and cereal with coffee & tea in a lovely breakfast room. Waking up to the views is wonderful. The hotel has it's own chapel along with other ornate sitting rooms.

There is nothing to dislike.

Nice hotel with the amazing view to the valley and the mountains. Authentic restaurant with reasonable prices.

No hooks or hangers for the towels anywhere to be found. Also outside signs for the parking, reception etc are not illuminated. Mat be confusing at the dark time.

Very nice hotel. Great room with great bath.

Bath was missing the stopper. Breakfast was satisfied. I wish they had vegetables.

Beautiful place to stay

Room great. Comfortable. Breakfast was acceptable - decent choice. Pretty grounds with pool tennis relaxing. Fridge in room.

Restaurant kitchen over-stretched so service erratic and food quality also.

Lovely typical Quinta on outskirts of Vila Real. Clean, comfortable, well located, friendly staff and good value.

Clean, comfortable, friendly. I liked that our room had an enclosed verandah area with windows that could be fully opened.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast was beautifully laid and there was heaps of choice. The first morning we we’re the only ones eating but hotel didn’t skimp.

Unique & clean hotel, delicious food but outdated tech.

Room is very clean and unique. Building is historic with very nice design & touch. The surrounded property is beautiful. Food in the restaurants are very good and the servers are very attentive. Would come back for the food! Breakfast is very good!

Technology used in the hotel is outdated. The internet doesn't work. They use the old tp link extender plugged outside our room. There is signal but it doesnt run and load anything. We have called the front desk who works at the afternoon shift, but she seems to not understand how technology works and keep telling us the password instead.

The staff were lovely and helpful.

They were having some trouble with the heating but they brought in a portable heater quickly to solve the problem.

Lovely accommodation, quite remote and sadly lacking a bar.

The location was peaceful but quite a long way from the town centre. Loved the selection of fruit for breakfast.

There isn't a bar when we could relax for a pre-supper drink.

It was a good stay, but poor for money

The building, it's surroundings and ambiance was very good. The staff was very nice. It has a lot of parking.

Good place for a short stay

Overall a nice hotel with a good restaurant. Big rooms. Feels slightly like an old fashioned sanatorium (not everybody's taste, I guess)

Not a very nice breakfast set in a depressing dark room with appalling coffee. A mistake was made on the bill and not in our favour.

A pleasant surprise and friendly hotel

Hotel is nicely located, very nice staff. Restaurant is very nice with outside seating. Great quality food, very friendly service. Room is spacy with a nice veranda style balcony.

Relaxing getaway, and good food

The overall surroundings, and the outdoor seating for both breakfast, dinner and lunch, is very pleasant. The restaurant serves a decent amount of food and of good quality.

The blow dryer in the room was very poor. Also the fact that they were cutting the grass around the swimming pool in mid afternoon, blew in the air small pieces of grass. Not to mention the noise of the grass cutting machine.
