About this house rental
Situated in Gilford, this charming house for $507 per night is a great option for your next trip. Tucked away in the scenic Gunstock Acres neighborhood, this newly renovated mountain chalet will capture your heart from the moment you walk in. The home has ample parking, beautiful deck overlooking a large flat backyard, and yard games. There are also plenty of quiet nooks for working from home and reliable wifi. All of this, while being equidistant between the mountains and Lake Winnipeasukee. What more could you want? The home has been tastefully renovated with all the highest end touches, including a built in dining nook that overlooks the beautiful backyard and a bubbling stream in the distance. This, combined with a fireplace on the outside deck and a fully stocked kitchen, encourages both gathering and conversations inside and out. The propane fireplace is ideal for curling up next to in the winter. The master suite has a private balcony that overlooks the wooded backyard. There are washers and dryers in both the upstairs master suite and downstairs in the utility room. Both are at your disposal during your visit for any laundry needs. There are plentiful bath and beach towels for all guests throughout your stay. We have a large game closet for all age ranges and a multitude of outdoor games, as well, in the shed that can be taken out in the summer to be used in the yard. There are way too many amenities to name here, so please don't hesitate to reach out to inquire about any specific requests or questions. Our home is less than half a mile away from Gunstock Mountain Resort. In the winter, the resort offers day and night skiing, tubing, a mountain coaster, and cross country skiing. In the summer months the resort has zipline canopy tours, a high ropes course, and hiking trails, just to name a few. Ellacoya State Park is only five minutes away, as well, which has a gorgeous beach and picnic tables along the water. Please reach out to Allie two weeks ahead of your stay and she can reserve your day pass for the days you would like to go to the beach during your stay. There are beach chairs in the shed that you are welcome to bring with you. If you plan to bring a boat, there is plenty of parking for a trailer and a pass for the Town of Gilford ramp. If shopping is more appealing, the Tanger Outlets in Tilton are less than a twenty minute drive. Popular stores include American Eagle, Brooks Brothers, Bath & Body Works, and Under Armour, to name a few. There are restaurants that will cater to all interests within a fifteen minute radius, including multiple waterfront establishments and bars. From our driveway, you can walk up the hill to a beautiful overlook of Lake Winnipeasaukee and Gunstock Mountain Resort. The neighborhood lends itself well to walking and biking alike with a multitude of roads with varying difficulty.

We had a fabulous time on our girl's trip. The property manager was amazing, and very prompt in getting back to me with my questions. The welcome we received when we got there was so kind. The home itself was beautiful, and the yard was amazing. Such a perfect place for a relaxing vacation.

We can't say enough about this beautiful rental home. We are a family of five with three children and a dog. The home was clean, spacious and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location of the home worked really well for us. We were visiting for a big family reunion with most family staying at Samoset Townhomes near the lake. We were able to visit them daily in less than three miles. We were also very close to Gunstock for the tree top rope course and alpine coaster adventure days. We did that twice and had a blast grabbing lunch & drinks on the patio restaurant at the base of the mountain with our large group. The Fun Spot arcade was close by and perfect for a rainy morning. On our last night we were visiting family at Somaset and the power went out all over the town. We drove home and the lights and internet were working at the house!!!! We were the only house around with a generator and with three children, this was a major bonus! We also enjoyed the large deck and backyard with the kids. We saw deer, wild turkeys, a bobcat and a porcupine! The kids thought it was awesome. We would highly recommend this home and plan to rent again next time we are in the area.

Allie has a wonderful property. Fit and finish is top notch and the house has everything. you could reasonably need. Location is perfect - quick drive to both Gunstock and the lake. Communication is prompt. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely time at this property. The house was well maintained and stocked. The owner was very kind and communicative. I only docked accuracy of online listing because it was advertised as a four bedroom which is why we booked it, but it was only three bedrooms. The fourth was a common area in the basement with a pullout couch, not a fully private bedroom. Otherwise, it was a really great, clean, newly updated home with everything you could think of. I would recommend this property to friends!

We had a fantastic family trip! Great layout, clean, well stocked! Location is fantastic at the base of Gunstock Mountain and close to the lake, restaurants and everything else you might need. We are already booked again for the summer and can’t wait to go back!

We had a great time in Guilford. The mountain was right around the corner and we could see the slopes at night. Unexpected extras like cooking spices were awesome as we did eat at home most nights. We really enjoyed the whoe experience. The only negative for us was the firmness (or lack thereof) of the mattresses but that is personal preference.

Gorgeous house and great location near Gunstock Mountain Ski Resort and hiking trails lots of great outdoor adventures and a bonus 6” fresh snow upon arrival and departure an awesome winter escape! We enjoyed all the amenities of the home including fire pit on the back deck and taking pictures in the ski chairlift! We appreciated all suggestions from Allie a great host ! I can’t say enough about how cozy and well maintained this home is, we would def go back !

We spent Thanksgiving weekend in this beautiful home. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed to have fun and relax. The beautiful kitchen is fully stocked and is open to the living area. It was spacious and comfortably slept 7 adults. Allie was very helpful and kind. The fireplaces both inside and on the back deck were great! We would definitely return to this house and beautiful area.

We immediately felt at home in this mountain property that we used for a small gathering of three old friends from school. Allie, our host was so lovely and has outfitted the house with everything you could possibly want for your stay! If we come back to NH we would DEF stay again! Allie's house is a beautiful mountain home with all the modern amenities you would like. While it was only my spouse and I, plus our two dogs, this home could accommodate much larger families has it has an entire downstairs living space. Allie is a wonderful and responsive host. We look forward to our next visit at her Gunstock Mountain home.

We rented this house for my mother's birthday. Our group comprised 6 adults and one little dog. The host left a pie and some wine to help us celebrate! The house was lovely and spacious enough that we did not feel cramped. The house was very well appointed with all manner of kitchen tools, spices and condiments. We over-prepared for the trip! The primary bedroom is a loft, so light and noise filtered up. The bonus space in the basement was great to keep noise contained at night. This house really does not fit 8 adults unless you bring an inflatable mattress. One bedroom has a full size bed. Five adults is probably the optimal number of guests if you don't use the sofabed. Still it served our needs just fine. The deck was terrific and we spent a lot of time outside. We couldn't figure out the AC and the host responded within hours (if not within the hour). This is a great house. I would certainly come back!

This property is very nice. We stayed there in the summer and it was fairly close to many things. If you booked it in the winter it would be a great location for skiing just down the street at Gunstock Resort. It was a very well equipped house in great shape. We enjoyed our stay.

Great home and well appointed! Beautiful kitchen with large stone island and gas range. Fridge is amazing, actually makes coffee too!
Living room is cozy with fireplace and you have so many channels to watch on the tv.
Bedrooms are extremely comfortable with soft down pillows and high thread count sheets. Bathrooms are as high-end as the rest of the house. Great rain shower upstairs and a deep soaking tub n shower downstairs.
Outside, you have a spacious deck with plenty of comfortable seating, a gas fire pit and grill. Great spot to watch all of the wildlife.
The location is perfect. You’re a half-mile from gunstock and only a few minutes from Lake Winnipesauke.

Beautiful home nestled into the hills of Gunstock Mountain area of Gilford NH. Well stocked and owner, Allie, very responsive to any questions. Great place for just 2 people, but can accommodate many more. We look forward to renting again when we visit family in NH region! Thanks Allie!

Allies's home seems brand new, everything is state-of-the-art, from the gas fireplace, to all the appliances. Allie was almost immediate to respond to any questions, check-in and out were simple. The home itself is located 3 minutes from Gunstock Resort and just a short drive to the lakes. The house was stocked with everything you need to have and enjoyable stay from games to both a gas and wood fire pits. The house is 3 floors with one bedroom upstairs and 2 downstairs, the kitchen and living area are on the main floor.The kitchen has everything you need to cook any meal, large or small. The shed even has ping pong and corn hole. Wine and candy on the counter made us smile upon our arrival.

Excellent Spot for a Vacation!!
Such a great experience renting Allie’s property for the week! It was an easy process from rental to check-in/ check-out. Property is beautiful and full of amenities that make for such a great time for the family. House fully stocked with towels, dishes, appliances and games saved us from having to pack these items to bring! Just a perfect location to all nearby attractions and use of the Gilford Town Beach was a plus!! We would definitely stay again!!

From the start, Allie was great with communication! The house is very nice and stocked with all the essentials! We enjoyed the board games and ping pong too! The location was more remote than I envisioned (city girl here) but it really only took about 10 minutes to get to the town beach area. It was a nice place to spend a week in New Hampshire!
