A very nice hostel! Nice location and also very nice staff! The place is very comfortable! You also get towels there!

3 minutes walk from the ferry. Way to find. Air conditioning and fan worked well. Free pay tv. We stayed in the double room and only had to share the kitchen with the people in the other double room. We could shop and cook. Good communication with the owner who lived next door. Quiet at night and secure. 7 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes from the new large supermarket.
We had difficulty with the hot water but the owner was quick to rectify it.
Would have liked for pillows (but we didn’t ask for an extra two - I am sure the owner would have obliged if we did).

The hostel was absolutely boiling. Genuinely insufferable. We spent all day every day out of the hostel because it was just so hot in the room we couldn’t cope (and I am half Mexican so I’m used to the heat). The air con is only turned on at night - I’ve not stayed in a hostel where the air con isn’t just readily available and it felt a bit odd especially as we were only people staying in our room besides a volunteer. Everytime we left the room the volunteer turned the fan off which made it just so stuffy in the room. In fairness we were given additional fans to combat the heat but it did just end up cycling the warm air around. The dorm we had only had one window which was by a top bunk so the rest of the room was very dark and a bit dingy.
Awful pillows, only given one each and so thin. My bed joined with an outside wall and it was very loud so I had to sleep with headphones on all night. All of this combined with the heat made it quite uncomfortable.
