Pinewood Inn

Location was great. 2 min drive to restaurants and other stores in the city. 2 min walk to the park on the water; kids playground, tennis courts, picnic tables, Muskoka style chairs. Strolled down with leftover dinner one night. It was very relaxing. The hotel is old and needs a few repairs but look past that and a lot of upgrades have been done. The bed was comfortable and all the furniture was new. The headboard, side tables and coffee table matched. The small sitting table was a nice expandable set. I appreciate having a couch in the room. One of the side tables had USB plugs...very handy. There is a big field behind the motel with tables and chairs that is well maintained. When I first walked in, I was underwhelmed but when I really looked, my room was quaint. I will definitely be back here in the future.

It was convenient, in a good location, near a great park and close to downtown. Had good supplies in washroom. Nice size room.

Could have been cleaner. Found food in microwave. Would have liked better pillows. Staff barely looked at me - just gave orders and here is your key.

Close to the kids at the cottage, 15 minute drive!

It was ok! If you need a clean place to sleep for the night! Towels could use an upgrade, I like a fluffy towel after a shower!
