Hickory Shadows was clean, tidy and comfortable. Nice touches like bottled water, ice cubes in freezer, coffee, tea, chocolates, etc. Host was great. Good communication. Would stay here again.
My only complaint is that the bathroom was very small. No elbow room at all.

Safe & quiet neighborhood. Comfy bed. Very clean. Plenty of extras--coffee, fan, luggage rack, closet space, parking space. Very communicative owner. Lovely stay.

David was an excellent host! I had a very late arrival and he left the light on for me and provided very clear and easy instructions for how to get into the space. There was a personalized welcome letter (& chocolates!) with anecdotes about the space, places to visit, and general info on the area which was super helpful. In the mornings I would go to the beach to watch the sunrise and they had beach towels and chairs available to use. It is close to both the beach and Charleston, and was perfect for my trip where I was out all day and needed somewhere clean and quiet to relax at the end of the day. Don’t hesitate to book this property for your next trip to Mt Pleasant!

This property was the perfect location for our charleston get away. During our week stay we were able to visit more than what we had planned, downtown charleston, Sullivans, IOP, folly beach and west Ashley. Everything was within a 45 minute drive.
Dave was very welcoming and made our stay as comfortable as possible. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable stay at a great location in the Charleston area

Dave’s place was absolutely perfect for me and my fiancé! Bed was super comfortable and everything was clean. Communication was on point and he even checked in multiple times over our stay to make sure everything was good and the temperature in the room was okay for us but we still had our privacy! Dave was super cooperative when we messaged last minute wanting to come a day early. We would definitely stay here again!

The room was the perfect size for two people. It was very clean and we really appreciated the powerful AC, as we stayed during the hottest week of the summer! Lol. Dave was a great host and I definitely recommend his listing.

It was cozy and quaint, but perfect for my spouse and I. It was very close to historic Charleston and Sullivan's Island. The host, Dave was great at making sure we didn't have any concerns. He was very nice and thoughtful and offered great recommendations for the area.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Cozy room, great neighborhood, and awesome location. Dave was very easy to communicate with. We appreciated his recommendations. Off street parking for a mid-size vehicle is another plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay here was wonderful! The owners were very friendly, accommodating, and gracious. Our room was nice and cozy in a little quite and quaint neighborhood. We were within miles to just about everything. We will definitely be staying here again!

Owners were very easy to work with. They were very accommodating. We stayed for 6 nights which would be a lot because it is little but our adult kids live around the corner, so we just slept there. It's hellpful if you like dogs they have 2 .The location is perfect, closed to Sullivan's Island, Charleston, Shems Creek and so much more. We will return.

This is a cute and comfortable place. We were there for baseball at the Shipyard park, and this was a good central location. Would recommend for a short stay. Be aware that it is small and not a lot of room in the bathroom if you are a larger person. This isn't a complaint and it was fine for us, just a good-to-know. The kitchen area was great and well stocked with a few glasses, plates, coffee, etc. The owners are on-site in the main part of the house, but they were very quiet and respectful. They were also responsive and helpful.

A wonderful stay & host! The place was exactly as described & even better with host communication. Very quiet neighborhood, close to everything needed, with easy access to downtown, West Ashley, James Island, etc. The Tesla charger was a welcomed addition & made more so much easier. This property was perfect for our stay in Charleston. It is a one bedroom/studio style space. The room is attached to the house so sound may be a concern, but the property owner was exceptionally accommodating ! Close to the beach and the city - within walking distance to a quick shop and several restaurants - it was a very comfortable stay !

We enjoyed our stay! The room is clean, thoughtfully designed and had everything we needed. David was accessible, gave excellent recommendations, and helped us find a rainy day activity that was perfect! As a bonus there were beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler to borrow. David even accommodated our request to meet his dogs, Sampson and Delilah! It was home away from home and we'd book again!
