About this house rental
Situated in Springfield, this charming house for $432 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Summary: Centrally located near the University of Oregon, with easy access to I-5. The home is located in a quiet, desirable South Eugene neighborhood with lots of room for indoor and outdoor dining and entertaining so you'll be able to bring your whole family. Home has a private fenced backyard with a covered patio, hot tub, gas grill and terrace garden. Bright, open concept great room with a gas fireplace and a well-stocked chef's kitchen. The Space: The House at Stone Crest is a spacious and comfortable 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home that sleeps 8 in beds and 2 on an airbed (if necessary). The master suite is located on the main level and has a king-sized bed, custom built-in closet, ensuite bath with walk-in shower. Two guest bedrooms upstairs have king-sized bed and the third bedroom has a queen-sized bed with one guest bath located upstairs. The living room/great room has a sectional with additional guest seating and a large TV. All bedrooms and the patio are equipped with TVs. The patio is set up for outdoor dining and entertaining and has a table, chairs, umbrellas, and a TV and a hot tub. Please note that events or parties of any kind are strictly prohibited and a noise ordinance of 10pm must be followed. Guest Access: The house is situated in a hilly neighborhood and there are many steps to the front door. There is a 2 car garage as well as street parking. House is accessible from the side and has only 2 steps in the back door, if many steps are an issue. The Neighborhood: The House at Stone Crest is located approximately 2 miles from the University of Oregon in the Laurel Hill Valley neighborhood in Eugene, Oregon. Getting Around: The house is easily accessible to I-5 and 14 miles from the Eugene airport. Other Things to Note: The house has an apartment attached to the right of the garage. There is one shared wall (in the upstairs queen size bedroom) but the outside space is separated from the apartment and noise from the apartment is not an issue. There is a parking space in front of the house that is dedicated to the apartment (it's in front of where the trash/recycle bins are housed). The way the house and outdoor is set up, it doesn't feel as though there is an attached unit. **PLEASE NOTE: The home is in a family friendly neighborhood. Please be mindful of noise levels and when outside after 10pm our of respect for our neighbors.

We had an unforgettable stay in this home! It is spacious, clean, comfortable and great for family gathering.
What made our stay unforgettable is the Eugene ice-storm that descended upon us during our stay! The storm completely interrupted the plans we had and threw the entire region into chaos. I can't say enough good things about how the owner addressed the situation. She was communicative, generous and concerned for our safety and well-being.
While we were disappointed to have our plans interrupted, the comfort of the home and the ease of working with the owner put a positive spin on a frustrating situation.
We would 100% stay here again!

The house was very nice and fit our needs perfectly.
We were able to have our whole family together which doesn’t happen very often with 2 of our daughters living on the east coast. A lot of fun cooking, eating and even watching some tv together.

We had 10 girls stay for the weekend for my best friends bachelorette party & we had an absolute amazing stay at Amanda’s property! She was very quick to respond to any and all of my questions and was EXTREMELY accommodating! I will definitely recommend this house to anyone looking in Eugene!

We had a wonderful visit to Eugene. We had 6 adults and had plenty of space in this gorgeous home. The kitchen was well stocked and cable tv was a bonus. The hot tub was the perfect place to wind down after our busy days. Check in was simple and the owner gave us some extra time to checkout which helped us immensely. Great stay!!!

Wonderful house that was absolutely perfect for our Christmas family get together! The kitchen had everything we needed to make a big Christmas dinner, which we hosted at the house with 10 people. The kids loved the hot tub & sliding down the stairs. Very nice house with a wonderful floor plan & every amenity we needed. Highly recommend Amanda's house for your stay in Eugene! Amanda even offered up the house a day earlier than our stay!

Our family came up to stay during the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen was fully stock to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. The layout of the house was perfect for us to have my elderly parents and my children be comfortable. The house was clean in a nice neighborhood. The host was responsive and very helpful. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone who needed a place to stay in Eugene.

We stayed at this beautiful home while visiting for my daughters State volleyball tournament. This home was exactly as it was listed online. Amanda was very easy to communicate with and was very flexible with accommodating our stay. We’ll appointed and laid out home with tons of amenities. If the surrounding area were not so nice we probably would have just stayed in! Amanda quickly responded to questions and check in and out were a breeze. Highly recommend!

Take care to park on the side of the house to avoid the steep hill at the front if you have anyone in your group who is unstable on their feet. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a family getaway
Spent our spring break week here with my wife, kids, and in-laws, and it was perfect for our needs.
Pros:
- Newer construction in a newer housing development so everything was in pretty good shape.
- Plenty of room for my wife and me, our two kids, my brother-in-law, and my parents-in-law with room to spare.
- Great location. Gives the feeling of being in the suburbs but you’re only like a mile or two from downtown Eugene.
- House was well stocked with kitchen equipment and plenty of extra towels for the hot tub.
- The TV on the patio is a cool touch. My kids were stoked they could watch a movie while enjoying the hot tub.
- The property manager, Amanda, was great to work with. She was very quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay, and took time out of her weekend to come personally check and rebalance the hot tub when I voiced concerns about it ( turned out it was over-chlorinated but she was able to fix it). She was also really cool about the bedside lamp my 3-year-old broke on accident.
Cons (that pale in comparison to the pros so don’t get scared):
- The neighborhood is very hilly. We took our kids’ scooters with us hoping we could scoot around the neighborhood but that was out of the question. The driveway is also VERY steep. We have a GMC Acadia and still managed to scrape our tailpipes backing down into the street.
- The attached apartment. We never saw the occupant or had any conflict but there were some minor noise disturbances a couple of the nights that were fairly noticeable in the bonus room above the garage, where my kids were staying.
- In spite of the hot tub being serviced at the beginning of our stay, both my kids still ended up with rashes from it by the end of the week. But to be fair, they were in there pretty much every day of our stay.
- The internet connection. It was fast when it was working but it seemed like at least once or twice a night, the bandwidth would take a dump right in the middle of streaming a movie. But again, just a minor annoyance.
Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The weather kept us inside a lot more than we were planning on so it was nice to have such a comfortable rental. And the pros far outweighed the cons (I did still rate it a 5, after all). I will absolutely try to stay here again if/when we decide to vacation in Eugene again.

Great stay in Eugene
We stayed here for 4 nights after a golf trip to Bandon and met up with some friends to enjoy the area. Amanda was a fantastic host with a perfectly appointed home. The beds were comfortable, linens and towels plush, kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was the perfect ending after days of walking and hiking. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip through Eugene!
