About this condo rental
Located in Surfside Beach, this charming condo for $189 per night is a great choice for your next break. We only rent Saturday to Saturday during the Spring and Summer months. NO PETS, and NO GOLF CARTS or TRAILERS are permitted on property by the condo association and will be towed away at your expense. We do NOT advertise on Craigslist, only VRBO! 2nd floor unit in Surfside Landing 1213 S Ocean Blvd right oceanfront building with ELEVATOR and only has 8 units total in the quiet area of Surfside Beach and has parking underneath and out front and a grocery store and restaurants near by. Key-less entry system, easy access. Code will be sent a day before arrival. Large guest room in the front of the home with 2 queen beds and dresser, a ceiling fan and closet, and TV with cable. Hallway with full bathroom with bathtub and shower, toilet sink and mirror. Kitchen on tile has granite countertops, fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, with bar stools. Plenty of Brazilian redwood cabinets for storage. The dining area has a dining room table that seats 6. The living room has a full size pullout sleeper couch, coffee table, 2 end tables, and large flat screen TV with cable an amazing view of the beach and ocean from the oceanfront porch that has a table and chairs. Washer and dryer in the unit. The master bedroom has a king size bed, full size dresser with mirror, nightstand, and closet, with a second oceanfront balcony which connects to the living room balcony. The master bedroom has a private bathroom with bathtub and shower, sink. The unit also has cable and internet throughout, and its own parking spot underneath the building along with guest parking out front. Bath towels and linens are included. Guests will be notified of the key less entry code and move in instructions before arrival.

Our stay was wonderful. Surfside Beach is my new favorite SC destination. The condo was perfect for two families. The rooms were large and two full baths were a plus. Fully stocked large kitchen. Bonus was the washer/dryer combo. My grandchildren loved the pool…and most times we had it to ourselves. Brandon was a great host and very attentive. Check in could not be easier.

The condo was just as described and we had a great time. Owner was easy to communicate with and check in was fast and easy. Elevator was nice as my mom struggles with stairs. We will definitely be back! Only suggestion is to bring your own can opener. The one in the condo is terrible. Lol!

Overall the condo was nice. It could use some updating in the bathrooms. Also the condo was not completely clean and smelled like stale cigarettes when we walked in which the smell eventually went away. We liked how close the walk was to the beach with easy access. Had a great trip.

The property is clean and comfortable. We had an absolute relaxing stay. Property owner answers any questions promptly. Gorgeous view of the beach and ocean. Will definitley book here on our next trip back to surfside.

The property was exactly as described. It is comfortable, nicely decorated, and spacious. The view is excellent. If you're looking for a quiet beach vacation (quiet time is 10 p.m. in this building), this is a good spot. The 10 a.m. checkout time is a bit too early, as others have mentioned. We went up to Broadway at the Beach and walked around until it was time to go to the airport. You will have to supply your own paper towels and bath tissue, but there is a Food Lion is right up the street. I would suggest you bring your own beach umbrella and chairs. They are over-priced and not the best quality at the local beach stores. That's not an issue if you drive, but keep that in mind if you fly to SC. There is an umbrella and chair rental service that currently charges $40/day for two chairs and an umbrella. The only suggestion I have is to replace the beds in the guestroom. They are noticeably worn and extremely uncomfortable.

Pros: Double covered oceanfront balcony with good seating, easy access to beach with nice shower coming off, master bedroom nice with comfy mattress. Super location. Elevator with grocery cart on property really handy for stocking kitchen.
Cons: bathroom floors not very clean, obvious build-up in corners/edges. None of the doors lock so easy to walk in on someone. Queen beds in 2nd bedroom very noisy with uncomfortable mattresses and pilled sheets on one bed. Would probably be ok for kids but not adults. Odd placed carpet hiding soft spot/dent in floor in living area. Could use another chair in living area.

Unfortunately the host thought he had given us the access code the day before our arrival but he hadn’t. We had a few hours of worry but all worked out ok when the host called me with access code. We were very pleased with the condo, the location and just in general excited to be there. I would recommend this listing to everyone. We had a wonderful time.

It's less than a half hour to Myrtle Beach so that was an easy drive. We liked that it wasn't as busy or touristy as Myrtle Beach. A much slower pace. I would recommend this place to friends.

The location is great but that's about it. Could use some improvements. The tile in the kitchen is a accident waiting to happen. There are a few pieces that are cracked and the lift when you walk on them. The living room floor isn't much better there are several spots that the floor is really sagging in almost feels like you are going to go through the floor. The living room TV didn't work and when messaging the owner he said he thought it was fixed. We also couldn't get the TV in the master room to work. The deck needs the most work carpet is all ripped and needs painted. There were also a few boards lose on the railing. The beds are super uncomfortable it felt like sleeping on a board.

Perfect!!
We had a great stay! Everything you need is provided for you! The check in process was super simple since the door code is sent to you the day before arrival. The property and the unit were very clean. The location is perfect. Close enough to attractions if you want but far enough away to avoid all the heavy traffic and hustle and bustle. We will definitely consider rebooking this condo in the future!!

Was nice to be right on the ocean and be able to walk on the sand every morning. Was also not a bad walk to garden city or into surfide for restaurant options ! The unit had absolutely qnything you could need and very spactious as well. The only downfall was not being able to leave the sliding doors open to hear the waves since you could smell the nighbors smoke that just took over the whole place often throughout the day.

We ended up using the spare bed, which good use an upgrade. The floor damage is pretty bad. There are crets covering the uneven boards, but it is still very uneven. There is also a very lose tile in the kitchen. We couldn't lock the door from the outside and had to contact the owner. He was quick to respond telling us that the lock has been giving him issues. He had his cleaning lady drop off a key the next morning. We appreciated his quick response. Despite the confusion issues, we enjoyed our trip.

The condo was nice, and we enjoyed our stay. I am going to mention three issues that definitely need immediate attention though. #1..We had problems with the automatic keypad on the door not locking and contacted the owner about it. He replied back and said he had been having problems with the keypad and thinks it needs to be realigned, so I feel like he will take care of that problem. #2..The carpeting on the balcony was in terrible shape and needs to be replaced it looked really bad. #3..There is a problem with some loose, cracked, buckled flooring in one area of the condo. It was covered with rugs and that helped being able to walk on it and didn’t cause us any problems at all, but it definitely should be fixed.

I rented this property 9/11-9/18. Had a beautiful week weather wise. Pro’s location, views, beach access. Ocean temp 82-84 all week. No need to use the pool. Property could use a little tlc. We only used the master suite. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was a bit noisy. Sliding screens to the deck were not useable. Not all kitchen outlets were functioning. No problem dealing with these small issues. Will definitely come back

Pros: Location, view, small building means it feels more private and less crowded. Pool area was nice. Access to beach is great. Layout of condo is great. Beautiful decor and furniture. Lots of drawers and closet space. Kitchen was pretty nice overall. Smart TV is nice.
Neutral: Bathrooms could use updating. One small elevator and no luggage cart. Just a shopping cart.
Cons: The biggest is that the floors are badly cracked in a few places and uneven and not safe. The owner did provide rugs for us to cover them when I called. So that was very helpful. The floors are new and beautiful, but something leaked on them and damaged them, causing these issues. I believe this will be repaired soon, but I have to rate based on my own experience. If the floors were fine, I would rate this condo 4 stars instead of 3.
The balcony needs updated and new carpet. It also needs to be cleaned. The carpet is ripped and gross and that made it harder to enjoy sitting out there. Once that is addressed, it will be awesome because it's a good size balcony.
Beds not comfy, but I saw this in a review about this condo and I took my mattress topper from home so I slept really well!
As with any condo down there, cleaning is usually pretty mediocre. Always be prepared to clean yourself. The cleaning companies only do a light sweeping, deal with linens, clean the bathroom, and put dishes away that are in dishwasher. I wouldn't let that impact my rating of a condo. Everywhere we've ever gone is like that. You have to dust everything and wipe out the drawers and wipe down the refrigerator and do your own thorough sweeping and mopping of the floors. That's not the owner's fault.
