It felt like these people regret running a hotel
easy to reach other places in the region.
You have to take care of absolutely everything yourself, personnel will not help with anything (in the rare moments that they’re there). pre-arrival: €400 mandatory deposit else non access outside of reception hours, which is basically always. Nothing in that apartment was close to being worth €400! arrival: confirmed baby bed wasn’t in the room, reception closed, none of the provided phone numbers could be reached. Bed linnen and towels dumped in a bag on the kitchen table. No coffee, no tea, no detergent, no handsoap, absolutely nothing. First night spent with our toddler in this very small bed together with us. what’s the point of a hotel, if you’re not able to sleep? next morning, reception admitted they forgot about the baby cot and gave it to us free of charge. Not really a big gift, considering it clearly was decades old and should have paid itself of already. everything else I mentioned “was not them, I should have brought it myself”. a “welcome bag” was available at €5, containing everything any normal hotel would have provided for free. during our week there, there was one afternoon nice enough to enjoy the (small) pool. this the afternoon the caretaker decided was the best moment to start running the lawnmower and leaf blower, to the annoyance of the guests at the people. You have to hand in garbage separately, but they don’t take glas at the local garbage disposal site. you’ll have to take that into town yourself, half a kilometer from the site and without sidewalks. did I mention the very expensive internet yet? it was so slow it seems like it was a dial-in connection, which it probably was, because after 2 days it cut out in a thunderstorm and didn’t turn back on for the remainder of our stay. this was “normal” according to the reception and of course I didn’t get a refund!

Perfect location to explore Provence. Big territory to walk, silent, beautiful nature. Nice houses, a bit old.
Dirty rooms, old linens, no simple things in the room like toilet paper and a liquid to wash the dishes. it was not mentioned that reception is working till 7pm - we have arrived at 8 pm and it took us time to call (no one picked up the phone) but then a technician came to give us keys. in the end it was fine, but not pleasant.

We didn't expect luxury, just somewhere to eat and lay our heads which it did, no frills attached.
Good bread delivered, good selection of restaurants in easy walking distance and easy driving distance to places of interest we wanted to visit. Quiet as out of season. Good view of the hills.
To be greeted by a room of flies, source unknown that we bought fly spray to kill, no other room available, we were told, numbers reduced over the four days but we had to cover all food. Staff tried to recover our confidence but first impressions stick. Very uncomfortable bed, too hard, obviously a budget buy mattress. One of the top essentials a good nights sleep not offered. The photo used on the booking site of the swimming pool was taken with great care! If we had gone there in the high season with children it would have been hugely disappointing, a rather pathetic swimming pool for the size of the complex and not inviting! Having asked for a balcony or terrace I was hugely disappointed that the sun did not hit it - no point in having it in October, too cold to sit out there. I should have said a sunny balcony or terrace. Small supermarket in Mausanne-les-Apilles (easy, lovely 15min walk) but expensive, larger ones not very close.
