Lovely cottage in a huge field of Orange trees. Lots of unexpected amenities such as complimentary snacks, fruit and water. Perfect position to Explore the area (super close to Winter Park, which is the departure point for tours to Hegra etc., as well as to Elephant Rock, where you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset). Easy automated check-in. But the best thing for us has been Abdul, the owner of the cottage: we are so Sorry not to have Met him in person, because he really went the extra mile to help us out on countless occasions, perfectly embodying the welcoming attitude and kidness we have experienced in all interactions with Saudi people during our trip. Absolutely recommend it!

Wonderful, clean and quiet

Everything perfect. it’s a quiet 2 bedroom apartment inside an orange trees farm, a few minutes from the elephant rock, the old town and the winter park (where you must get the bus to get to Hegra). There’s a well equipped kitchen and the owner even left some food, coffee, tea and sweets. Thank you for your hospitality. We would repeat for sure

An absolutely perfect stay in Al Ula!

I spent several days in Al Ula with my mother and cottage owner and his brother went out of their way to ensure our stay went smoothly even before we arrived. The owner was extremely responsive and patient and answered the laundry list of questions I had prior to our arrival and even coordinated with our driver to ensure we found the property when we arrived in town. The cottage is extremely well maintained and appointed - the kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need as well as the bathroom and bedrooms. There was plenty of space and there were wonderful space heaters to keep us warm when the temperatures dropped in the evenings so we were always comfortable. It was wonderful having access to the internet and what a treat to have access to Netflix! It was fun watching movies in the evenings - the living room was extremely comfortable and we slept extremely well in the beds which were well appointed. There was a lovely deck in front of our cottage with seating, shade from the sun and even a grill for cooking for those interested. The cottage is extremely conveniently located to Winter Park which is precisely where you need to be to partake in all of the central sites and tourist activities. Overall it was a perfect experience and I can't recommend staying here enough! So grateful to Abdul and his brother for such a wonderful experience and memories that will last us a lifetime. I hope to come back in the future and will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone!

Memorable…

The location is accessible to all location from market, winter park, old town and other tourist destination. The host is accommodating even though we didn’t see him in person, he provided us all the details we needed for our whole stay in the cottage. They are complementary foods and toiletries available as well as extra blankets and pillows as well. And there’s an orange farm where we are able to roam around. It’s a good place for people who like to stay in a farm.

The owners were kind enough to let us pick fruits from the citrus trees it was an amazing experience the place was fully equipped with everything from fire pit to griller coffee maker and stove it was a unique experience that I would never forget

Clean and comfortable cottage in beautiful surroundings with a great host

Super cute little cottage on an orange farm in the middle of beautiful surroundings with the mountains as backdrop. Clean, comfortable and spacious with a beautiful outdoor seating area with a barbecue. The property is quite rural so a car is a must. Easy access however to all of AlUla’s sites from the property. The owner, Abdul, speaks perfect English and went out of his way to make our stay memorable!! Best service ever. Abdul also provides a variety of fruit, coffee, tea, milk, cereals etc. We loved our stay!

Nothing, all was perfect and the cottage exceeded our expectations.

The Experience

Everything about this property is magnificent especially the owner the way they welcomed us to the cottage present the high level of hospitality and grace. The cottage is very clean and well prepared. The kitchen was full supplied with equipments, foods, drinks and snakes and all other necessary tools and all of these is included in the price. The cottage located in a lemon trees farm which gave us a great experience. The outdoor area is well designed and it has a lovely tent with a large table and a fantastic barbecue station. I recommend that if you are visiting Al Ula you must stay in this cottage for this speechless experience

A great venue to escape to

The family (2 kids + 2 adults) had a great 3 night stay there. We have already agreed that we would stay in the cottage again. The 2 small double beds in the bedroom could have slept all 4 of us but our kids wanted to sleep on the large sofas in the lounge - so you could actually sleep more than 4 in the cottage. The host was excellent, great English, and we appreciated the extra support they provided us and the nice touches left in the cottage. Location is easy for the surrounding sites but beautifully quiet, green and set in a orange team plantation - we wish we had been there to see the hundreds of orange trees with fruit hanging from the branches. The service station up the road has basic supplies but the host had already provided milk and water etc... Great bbq and outdoor seating area - just not that easy to find a good butchers in the area so bring your own meat if you like to grill.

Nothing So people understand - whilst i rated the facilities as 5 star they are not 'luxury' . Booking.com has lots of 5 start ratings for stuff that barely makes 3 star so i did not want the host to score badly if i rated them only 4 star on facilities so i gave them 5. The place was very comfortable, cosy and very clean.

Very convenient proximity to all the attractions of Al Ula.

The privacy , cleanliness and amenities. Basically you don’t need to get anything with you. It’s all there waiting for you. And the best of all is the Owners of the place, we met Abdulrahman at the arrival and we talked briefly over the phone before arrival, extremely hospitable and there was nothing too much to ask. Very knowledgeable of the place, didn’t miss the smallest detail of the amenities. After the warm welcome we received , we immediately felt we were home. Most certainly we will return with the kids and friends as well. Ah , not to mention that we literally stayed at the entire farm alone. Beautiful experience.

Outstanding cottage on a farm

Host speaks fluent English and went extra mile to make our stay memorable. We had a place fall through and at last minute request , Abdul made his place available. Location is excellent close to Elephant rock and has nice outdoor space with BBQ for relaxing after long day of sight seeing. Thanks Abdul , “we’ll be back”! :)
