Completely updated in 2005, this incredible home has the modern upgrades that you need, yet still retains its 1920s 'old Ocean City charm.' The attractive open floor plan includes a spacious living area that opens up to a 1,500 sq. ft. wrap-around balcony, great for relaxing together and enjoying a partial view of the ocean in the distance. Additional features include beautiful hardwood flooring, a fully-equipped kitchen, two TVs, two DVDs, a private washer/dryer, central A/C, and complimentary Wireless Internet access with a wireless printer. What's nearby: Found on Second Street, this four-bedroom, three-bathroom home is only half a block from the beach and Boardwalk, and a short stroll away from hundreds of unique shops, fine restaurants, thrilling amusement rides, and activities galore. Great spot for guests visiting during event weekends, like Sunfest, Springfest, Cruisin' OC, Wine on the Beach, etc. Things to know: Please be advised that this property is located across the street from Plim Plaza Caribbean Pool Bar, which has live music during the afternoon and late evening hours that can be heard from this rental. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 2. Security camera details: This home has several exterior surveillance camera that is recording video only and no sound. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. The house itself is beautiful. The location is perfect. Upon arrival we noticed that the house was not clean. The floors were dirty, and we had to mop ourselves just so we felt comfortable walking around. The kitchen had ants. We called to report and also our travel agent, Mindi Phillips from Beloved Getaways called. We were told that someone would be there to spray. They never showed up. We went out ourselves and bought ant spray. I just felt for the amount of money that we are charged to rent the house; the house should have been cleaned.

The location of this house is great if you want to be where all the action is. It is right near the boardwalk and a very quick walk to the beach. We loved listening to the music of the live bands at Plim Plaza and the convenience of having bars and restaurants right there was great. That being said, when it did get to the time when we wanted to get some sleep, this area remains pretty noisy into the night. If you are looking for a week full of good sleep, this is not your place. The house is nice, enough room for 2 families to sleep. The kitchen is small with little counter space. The cable situation is awful, with very few channels. We spend most of our vacations on the beach or out and about but there are a few of us who want to wake up and watch news or sports or settle in at night doing that. The towels that were provided were new but also extremely cheap so when we used them we ended up with white lint all over us. It was great that we had the washer and dryer because once we washed all the towels they were fine. Also nice to not have to bring dirty clothes and beach towels home with us. All in all, it's a great spot, nice house and awesome for a large group.

Great house to stay at with friends. Boardwalk and beach is right outside of the house and we were close to everything. The big deck was a nice perk to enjoy the sun. The house was very spacious and accommodated all of us comfortably. We all enjoyed our weekend stay!

You'll share this very dirty and rundown house with lots of ants in the kitchen. I've stayed here 4 times and each time it is a little worse. The place is literally falling apart. Door knobs falling off, furniture is broken, wood floors are disgustingly filthy, deck steps are falling apart. Many of these issues are starting to be a safety concern. The location is great, but think hard before renting this place unless they finally put some money back into it. Each year the price goes up and the quality goes way down.

Another bonus is Thrashers is right there on the left hand side if you love fresh cut delicious fries. The rooftop bar across the street makes for great entertainment sitting on both decks. The only downfall is it may keep you up a little bit late. We really enjoyed this bungalow and will most likely stay again on our next vacation at OCMD.

Overall this is a nice property right down in the heart of the boardwalk area. Perhaps it could be a little cleaner upon arrival but still a nice stay.

Pros- stayed here with 11 people. Size of house with very nice. Plenty of space. Was in a prime location for walking the boardwalk and price good compared to other locations.
Cons- although great location the noise of the cars racing all night long and the garbage trucks from 6am-7am made it very difficult to sleep. The unit was very sandy upon arriving. More than one would expect. It wasn’t cleaned that well. Unit needs updating.
