Our room was very comfortable, the check in process was well managed and dinner advice was welcomed.
Access to complimentary drinks was appreciated.
The decor was very much in period and certainly added to the ambience of the mansion.
The large number of dead flies and roaches on the floor of the bedroom was off putting. The unsecured toilet seat was dangerous and led to several anxious moments particularly at night!!
Breakfast was well cooked but limited in choice and amount. The price we paid led us to expect more.

Nothing particular. We were the sole guests on a midweek night and got an upgraded room with a lovely bathroom
