About this lodge
Tettegouche Lodge is a secluded 32-acre property near Finland, MN with a spacious 8-bedroom, 7-bathroom vacation rental house nestled into the hills three miles inland from Lake Superior. A spectacular stretch of the Baptism River runs through the property directly below the Lodge with ideal, private fly fishing locations and a swimming hole. Tettegouche (pronounced Tet-a-gooch) means "gathering place" in French and with a capacity of up to 18 guests, the Lodge is perfect for multi-generational or multi-family North Shore vacations, yoga or corporate retreats, intimate Northwoods weddings, writing, art or photography workshops, and book club or scrapbooking getaways.
We have a 6-night minimum rentals mid-June to mid-August, late August and holidays are 4-nights, and reservations the rest of the year only require a three-night minimum stay.

Me and my now husband had our wedding at the lodge with family and it was absolutely amazing!! Definitely recommend for those looking for an amazing space, good location, and great views! The hosts, Sarah and Anne, were also fantastic!

The hosts were extremely helpful! There was more than enough space for our party of 17, ages 10-76. We had a blast sledding on the driveway and the peace and quiet was enjoyed by all! I would also recommend the bowling alley in Silver Bay for a close by option of fun.

The title says it all, it's a great place, very spacious and in a great location. Just some minor items to know the upstairs bathroom showers are pretty light on pressure so don't over lather, you might be in there awhile. The two garbage bins under the sink and hutch, smell like garbage had been left in there far too long and soaked into the wood and will not come clean, we tried. The toilet handle in the upstairs bedroom "N" had a broken handle so we had to leave the top off t so we could manually flush. Other than the minor issues it was pretty solid, game room and kids play areas would be great for little ones although we had none on it trip.
