About this house rental
Situated in West Point Lake, this charming house for $166 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. The A-Frame on West Point Lake, newly renovated charming original A-frame cabin! This home has a unique cabin feel on the lake! It has a very large master suite with deck access, upstairs loft bedroom with sitting area (great for kids) and sliding door to small balcony. We have provided a fire pit area for fun in the fall and winter and a gas grill for outdoor cooking! Located on Stroud Creek, a very peaceful and serene area of West Point Lake! This retreat allows you to enjoy all the outdoor activities like boating, kayaking, fishing and swimming! During winter months the lake is lowered for dock improvements! The water levels are lower but views are still great! The cabin is still a wonderful escape for rest and relaxation! We have a garage studio apartment available that can also be rented for additional $100 per night and $100 cleaning fee. It has a kitchenette, closet, bathroom, sitting area and 2 queen beds. If interested please contact. WE NOW HAVE fiber WiFi! Yay! We have two single kayaks available to rent @ $100 for three days. WeeklyIf you book a week they are included for you to use at no charge . Pontoon boat available for rent, $200 for 8 hours or $500 for 3 days plus $75 fuel charge. Yamaha 60 hp Sweetwater, 10 person capacity. All safety requirements by DNR provided. Inspected and certified by Coast Guard. Please contact if interested! We will need to know prior to your stay if you would like to rent the boat. Private guided fishing trips available, please contact if interested. There is a well stocked store about 2 miles down the road for anything you may have forgotten or ice for the cooler! We have 2 boat ramps within a couple miles (Dewberry and Rocky Point) and a private dock! New Publix Grocery Shopping Center, Nail Salon, Chick fil a, Mexican Restaurant, Beverage Store, and other shops 10 minutes from cabin! Only 15 mins to downtown Lagrange where you will find great restaurants and shopping! Local attractions within an hour of the A-Frame Downtown LaGrange- unique shops and delicious restaurants! Wild Leap Brewery, Great Wolf Lodge Water Park, Nuttwood Winery, Historic Pine Mountain and FDR State Park, Callaway Gardens, Wild Animal Safari!!! Highland Marina, Southern Harbor Marina, Lagrange College, Auburn University

We had a great stay! Host was easy to communicate with and the house was decorated so adorably!

Our stay was just what we wanted. The cabin was in a great location. It had everything we needed. I especially liked the deck and also the chairs that were set out down by the water. We didn't cook at the cabin as there were so many restaurants in LaGrange. We spoke to the owners a couple of times, and both were more than helpful. Thank you to them and VRBO for being easy to work with.

Beautiful outside the house itself was clean but mold was growing in master bedroom giving us all head congestion, headaches and coughs. The baby gate provided didn’t fit the steep stairs to the loft where our kids and grands were to stay because of the number of beds in it so we had to rent the garage apartment for an unexpected expense. I know it’s a cabin in the woods but we killed palmetto bugs on the kitchen counters and woke up to palmetto poop each morning on the counters. I will say the owners were on top of messages.

The A-frame is SO cozy! Inside was very nice and clean. The kitchen had all you could want to cook great meals. The internet connection was great. The master bedroom is huge and is so comfortable. Communication with Renay was very easy and she was quick to respond. They even offered to let us sit in the pontoon boat while it was there! The walk to the water has some roots and is a little slick after a rain, but it’s a simple walk. The dogs next door were very sweet, but very curious of us. The neighbors kept to themselves. The totally gated wrap around porch was a huge plus. I would absolutely stay in the A-frame again! If you want a great restaurant for lunch, Mare Sol is about 20 minutes away. We went twice during our stay!

The only negative thing about our stay was that I had to be away from our 1 year old twins. Can’t wait to plan our next stay with them on the next go round.

My three sons, husband, and I stayed in the cabin for four nights and enjoyed every minute of our time there. It was relaxing, quiet, and the lake was a quick walk down the trail. It was beautiful! We had a campfire every evening after grilling outside. The lake cabin was a perfect fit for our family. The boys loved the loft space! It was a truly wonderful vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on the lake. Had all of the essentials we needed in the home and the dock on the lake was in a peaceful cove with deep water. Furniture in the home was comfortable and made relaxing easy when we weren’t fishing. Highly recommend this home!

This place was amazing, it’s even more beautiful in real life everything was great. Except for cell phone service but Wi-Fi works well at the house even though it didn’t reach by the lake. Still it was a good time away from devices and just enjoying the outdoors. Great finishing spot. Definitely will book again.

We fished the SBC Tournament and caught lots of great fish. We raised almost $23,000 for the community. The A-Frame house was lovely and perfect for all 7 adults. We had an excellent time and can't wait until we are back again. Thank you so much!!

Was a nice getaway for a few days. Enjoyed not cooking for three days to prepare for Thanksgiving. Had lunch at Cracker Barrel and saw the Fantasy of Lights show. Also, did some antique shopppng.

This cabin is in a great setting. The new deck adds to the rooms and beds available for a small or large groups. Easy walk to the lake and floating dock in a peaceful cove. Great fire pit and firewood provided. I highly recommended it.

We loved our stay at Renay’s AFrame! We traveled from Iowa and hoped to see the fall colors in GA - we weren’t disappointed! The home was lovely, clean, offered all the amenities we needed and more. Comfortable bed and incredible master! The deck was top notch- so nice to sit outside comfortably and enjoy. I loved the peaceful, short walk to the lake to enjoy the beauty and serenity there. We’ll definitely stay again!

We stayed for a week, and the home was clean, comfortable, close to the water, and very nice. Will definitely stay here again.

The place was wonderful. Very clean when we arrived. Hosts were very responsive to any questions. The decks were amazing with multiple table for sitting outside and enjoying nature. They provided plenty if wood for the fire put although we never got around to having a fire. The boat was nice and the house is on a super quiet part of the lake. We hardly saw other boats.

Flew in from PA to ATL for the Penn State vs Auburn game. This was a great location about halfway between the airport and the game. The house and deck are really cool. Everything was very clean and well organized. Only regret was not having enough time to fish/boat on the lake. Would absolutely stay here again. Renay was super helpful and always quick to respond.

We had a wonderful time at the A frame cabin. We brought our kayaks and paddleboards and had a great time swimming, fishing, and exploring the lake. You can also rent if you don’t want to bring your own. This cabin is located on a quiet part of the lake so boat traffic was minimal which meant we felt comfortable allowing our seven year old to venture around on his own. He was over the moon. This place is quiet and perfect for decompressing. It’s hard to be stressed and anxious while sitting lakeside watching the kids do cannon balls off the dock. The cabin itself is comfortable with a massive master bedroom and two double beds in the upstairs loft. All the beds were super comfortable. There is one close neighbor on one side, however, we never saw them. The other is completely private. Overall the location is fantastic and the host are great to deal with. We can’t wait to return.

We had such an excellent time at this property! It was extremely clean, and had just about everything we needed. We grilled out one night and went to On Point restaurant for dinner another night. We rented the pontoon and had a really nice time tooling around the lake. The hosts were extremely kind and very responsive. I would 10/10 recommend staying here!!

We had our own boat so parking at the property’s dock was easy. Noat ramp near by and plenty of room to dock even with owners’ boat docked as well. So plenty of room and peacefulness.

Great place to stay, fast access to water out the back of the house. Service can be spotty but as expected by location. However an all in all magnificent place. Plenty of room for a family and great privacy. Loved it!
