Really lovely cottage. Nice pub nearby that did great food.
We were there Monday to Thursday but the pub didn’t serve food on Mondays.
8 / 10Excellent·Jul 2026
Unique and well situated for a peaceful relaxing stay (although aren’t passing tractors noisy! City girl here).
Pretty good overall, although would have been nice to have a mirror, hairdryer and fan in both bedrooms not just one. Nice welcome pack, but as another reviewer said, would have been that tiny bit better if it had had the same items in it as shown in the picture advertisement. Fair few cobwebs up high but otherwise very clean.
7 / 10Good·Jun 2026
Peaceful and quiet. Friendly people. Surprisingly spacious, considering the age of the property. Great bonus having a downstairs loo! Some nice, original features, and great WiFi reception.
First impressions were that the outside needed freshening up (especially the front door) Inside, it was attention to detail really. Not having milk in the fridge when we arrived. Broken knob on cooker hob, and worn out pots and pans. Flickering light in bathroom. No window, but no extractor fan in there either. Wobbly loo seat - (the owner came and tightened it up straight away, but its the wrong seat, so it didn't fit properly) The steep staircase needed a longer handrail.

I thought the cottage was superb and well equipped easy to get in and lovely location and easy access to shrewsbury pub also a bonus so close and outstanding sunday roast and lovely owners .
My only gripe was single bed not comfortable but for money I thought it was fab be back. also nice gifts they've got it spot on .
