Best breakfast buffet, ever!! Lobby is great! Wonderful place to hang. Bed very comfortable. Suite has a great tub. Staff friendly and helpful.

The king standard room has no place to put anything other than a wardrobe for hanging clothes. No dresser, table or even a shelf. And nothing on the walls. Drab. I also stayed in the junior suite a few nights and that was better. Still could use a dresser and art on the walls.

When I am in Stockholm, I always try to stay at Hotel Ruth. It is an independent hotel and managed with great enthusiasm and attention to detail. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, it is a personalized experience. I like that the rooms are not over renovated, but retain their charm, while still being comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of fresh, home-made stuff. One can also hang out at night in the cozy bar or eat at their restaurant. This was my fourth stay, and hopefully, not my last.

The staff was exceptional and the breakfast was beyond wonderful.

The initial (double) room we booked was much too small for two people. We had some maintenance issues and staff was very quick to move us to another room which was larger. The surprising thing was that the room had no shelf under the pedestal sink for toiletry items or makeup mirror (as the smaller room had) and the grout in the shower looked dirty. When I mentioned this, a cleaning person was sent. It was better but likely also needs to be re-grouted. For a beautiful hotel with wonderful service, these details and others (no luggage stands for suitcases or pegs/hooks to hang bags and coats) should be in line with the brand quality.
