The apartment is located in a central but quiet area. It was very easy to reach downtown by bicycle - only 5-10 minutes away, depending where you're heading. The area is quiet and the beds in the bedroom are comfortable so sleeping was very good. Subway is just 1 minute aways and with good connections. Having bicycles included was very nice. Breakfast ingredients were of good quality, organic.
Though the heaters worked well and were warm, it was a bit chilly before bedtime, during the winter. Bedroom temperature was perfect for sleeping though. Toilet is all the way at the other end, and it has only cold water (typical dutch I think), so one has to have some slippers in the winter season. There is no cooking top, just a microwave. For me wasn't an issue, but it might be for families. Breakfast could have used some vegetables and salad. WiFi was spotty.

We loved the location, facilities and coziness of the apartment. It was perfect for our family of four, within walking distance of the Canals and attractions of Amsterdam. Great hosts also.
Nothing!

Compared to other locations in Europe this rental was quite spacious. Great separation between room that the kids slept in and ours (a set of blackout curtains and a glass door).
Good variety of snacks & foods included.
Great location and unbelievable bang for your buck!
Didn’t end up using the bikes included but was nice to have that option.
It seemed like even with the space heater it was hard to get the bedroom end of the rental warm enough.
The breakfast provided was a continental style breakfast with pastries, ham, cheese, bread, yogurt, cereal, milk, juice, fruits etc which we really enjoyed however we ran out of fruit about 1-2 days in and could have used a little more or had it restocked at some point.
