We were in walking distance of amazing Cheyenne highlights! We were fine, but if one needs a 3-prong outlet…there aren’t any… Such a great stay - our sleep was awesome with the great mattress!

I'm 62yo, 390lbs with a heart condition. NO MENTION THAT THIS IS A 3RD FLOOR WALKUP! The "Seasonal" A/C is a portable unit in the living room. There are two spare fans in the bedroom closet. One dances all night because either the floor isn't even or the feet are shot. The other is supposed to be an oscillating fan but the fan broke off and is hanging by wires. It still runs but it only sorta points at the floor. The door to the building was an awkward affair and the door to the apartment didn't work well at all. When we got there (after a 14 hour drive) we found that the tub/shower did not drain and neither did the sink. After a few calls to the management, they let me use the shower in another apartment until they could get the drains fixed. They got the drains fixed the next day (thank you for that). Apparently they had clogged with hair and the cleaning staff didn't know how to take care of it between tenants. There is a bar (or something) connected to the alley which leads into the parking area. The late night activity was concerning but nothing happened to our car until the last night when it was covered in confetti when we went out to leave. The apt. IS right downtown with walking access to lots of stuff. It's a quaint little place that would have been far better at ground level, away for the "bar", and properly prepared to have guests.

Several critical details are missing or misleading in this listing! First, this is a third-story walkup. We had quite a bit of gear that we wanted to secure in our Vrbo after camping for several days. The listing does not mention that the apartment is on the third floor and that there is no elevator. We chose to risk leaving most of our gear in our vehicle. (More on that risk later.) Second, the listing said that the apartment had air conditioning. (The temp was approximately 90° F when we arrived.) The apartment DOES NOT have air conditioning. When we inquired about the discrepancy, the person who responded suggested that the air conditioning was "seasonal," whatever that means. There was a (broken) fan in one of the closets that sort-of worked. The host had another fan dropped off. We survived, but were very disappointed in the misleading information. None of the blinds actually work like they should. The water in the shower randomly goes hot and cold. The light switch for the bathroom is practically in the shower! This has to be a code violation and is certainly dangerous. We had to ask for checkout instructions. We've never had to do that in any other Vrbo. Typically, instructions are provided upon check-in either in a Vrbo message or in a book in a conspicuous place. The apartment is quaint but we were constantly bombarded with sirens at night, people walking through the parking lot breaking bottles and yelling. We were concerned that our vehicle might be broken into given the amount of foot traffic through the parking lot. Finally, the means of entry is cumbersome at best. Every time one enters the building, one must open a lockbox, pull out a fob, disarm the door, place the fob back in the lockbox, close the lockbox, and spin the lock combination dials. The lock on the door to the apartment never worked on the first try. It always took at least two tries. My wife and I have staid in several Vrbo properties. This is the worst.
