Entering Kasauli is a nightmare..the hotel is 30 minutes drive from the main town amidst the green belt. Which we liked. The location gives you access to drive to Shimla or other nearby places avoiding the entry/exit bottleneck.
It's just basic facilities, so don't expect much. The staff is kind and caring

The huts were nice. The food was good.
The rent was bit on higher side and furniture was average.
the doors were not working properly.
the weather was bit hotter than kasauli.
