Great time ! The only problem we had was the back porch fire place ran out of gas and we found the other tak but couldn’t get the top off. But that was on the last night so wasn’t to bad. Over all we had a great relaxing time.

One of the most charming and well appointed VRBO's we have visited. The Longs are wonderful hosts, always a prompt response. We needed to modify our plans several times, and they were always flexible and pleasant. We loved the covered space with the best hot tub ever. The beds were so comfortable. We are golfers and the generous gift basket was greatly appreciated. Everything worked as it should. Beautiful community, gorgeous golf course. The clubhouse, service, food and drinks were all very good. We enjoyed our stay!

The 5-star reviews for this gem were all spot on! We loved our stay and appreciate the little things the owners did to make our stay (and their home) so special. We will 100% be back, next time with friends. Lots to do within a short drive, but staying in and just relaxing was equally wonderful. All VRBO experiences should be this good. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!

Everything about the property was first class. What a wonderful job updating this cabin and so many amenities! And no other houses close by. The great welcome basket of snacks was an extra bonus!! We hope to come back.

The hosts did not miss a beat at this place!! From the numerous wonderful seating areas outside to the decor and amenities and thoughtful extras inside, this place had it all!! Upon walking inside, there was a great, unexpected welcome basket, filled with all sorts of goodies! Another nice touch. We really enjoyed taking the golf cart all around the neighborhood! While doing so, we came across a hidden gem of a beautiful waterfall and a great hiking trail. Would definitely recommend taking the drive down there to check it out! The location is really ideal too. You are way up in the mountains yet only 15-25 min from 3 different cities where you can find just about anything you need or want! I would say Karen n John have been the most gracious hosts we’ve had the pleasure of staying with!! Would highly recommend staying here for sure! You wont be disappointed! We will definitely be back!! ♥️

We loved everything about our time at Sugarbush and wish we had booked a longer stay. Everything is beautiful inside and out and we enjoyed the amenities. Already planning a return trip!

A lovely home beautifully decorated and offered many special touches that are not often seen in other vacation home rentals. Also a wonderfully peaceful view. One of the club pass cards did not work but the other did

This property was absolutely wonderful. All the amenities were top of the line and had everything you would need for comfort and enjoyment. They really work hard to make your stay just like home. It was very clean and well taken care of. Highly recommend this beautiful chalet.

Karen and John have thought of everything. This was the perfect getaway to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The home comfortable and has everything you could need. Karen has done a beautiful job decorating the place. There is plenty of room for 2 couples. The outdoor spaces are great for relaxing with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Plenty to do and see nearby.

We loved how cozy this place was. Perfect size for us 2, or if we had brought another couple w us. Very comfortable and welcoming. Great location for nearby towns, hiking, and 2 minutes from Sky Valley golf course. This was our 2nd trip to Sky Valley, which we really enjoy. Would definitely stay here again. We did not take advantage of the jacuzzi given we were out hiking or golfing most every day, but if/when back here again, will make a point to try it out.

Perfect getaway mountain retreat in a beautiful serene setting with great attention to detail. Wonderful owners who are very responsive. The home and location for exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back.

This home was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway! Secluded and private but still close to necessities! We thoroughly enjoyed staying here all of the amenities on the property are great and exactly what you see if the photos! We will recommend and be coming back ourselves!!!

Y’ALL!!! This property is AMAZING!! We were enticed by the posted pictures of the quaint house in the woods among the beautiful trees, flowers and ferns! We knew the location would be perfect for golfing at Sky Valley CC! What we DID NOT EXPECT was the degree to which every household need or want is totally covered….the kitchen and baths lack nothing at all!! I didn’t know there were so many different machines to make your desired coffee!!! The upstairs is full of fun…cards and board games, pool table (very nice) & massage chair! Our favorite place was outside on the porch around the fire table…so comfy and relaxing! The owners were very quick to reply to our need for another propane bottle…2 spares on site!! I’m addition to all of this loveliness, the home is immaculately clean! Oh and the beds are super comfy! We can’t wait to come back to enjoy this little TREASURE again!

Great property, the owners think of everything and everything is so nicely appointed. Honestly wish we were there another day. There was an issue with the hot tub but they messaged us about it before our arrival and provided a few choices. Just a great house, the beds were comfortable everything was just as in the listing. If I’d give anyone any advice it’s that if you have an option, you may want to drive something smaller than a GMC XL Denali! Takes some wiggling to get that size vehicle in and out of the driveway 😂. But, that’s just the mountains, lots of tight places in a big vehicle. Would certainly stay again!

We have to agree with everyone. This place was perfect! We didn't want for anything. If we had an issue, the owners were quick to respond and address our needs right away. Very helpful and thoughtful! I highly recommend a visit to Sugarbush Shalet in Sky Valley!

I don’t even know where to start. There wasn’t a detail left out. From the welcome basket to the decor everything was top notch. I’ve never felt so at home not being at home. The place is immaculately decorated from every inch of the inside to the outside. The hot tub is huge!! Everything was so clean. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t provided. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more at the cozy place. Can’t wait to come back!!

This was a stay to remember for sure. I am not a golfer but this mountain community is AWESOME and the golf course up the mountain was very scenic with the Canada geese around honking,lol. The church rang the bells which could be heard from our chalet. The chalet was awesome with a very private hot tub and relax area with tv to view outside of wanted. The inside was top notch decorated and clean. The smart house features like starting the fireplace and listening to music with just a voice command to Alexa was so cool. My wife and I are sure to return. The owners were very accessible by text and checked to be sure we enjoyed our stay. AWESOME PLACE!!

I am always nervous on what to expect at rentals, but this home was a wonderful experience with little touches of comfort in every space. The cleanliness and the furnishing were in wonderful shape and the layout and esthetic made it feel like a luxury experience. The outside areas were enjoyed by all. Location was excellent for visiting near by Clayton and we had a great time.

My boyfriend and I took a much-needed break during the holidays and found Sugarbush Shalet to be the way a VRBO should be! My boyfriend runs his own VRBO property and he said that after staying at Sugarbush he had fresh ideas he would like to implement at his property. We felt cared for and truly enjoyed our vacation because of the meticulous attention paid to our comfort. Everything from the keyless entry to the countless offerings of fun beverages to the easy operation of the hot tub was simple and delightful. They had even left fuzzy blankets by the door that were so appreciated after our time in the hot tub. Thank you for your hospitality and your dedication to the happiness of your guests…we felt the love!

I almost cannot put into words how much we enjoyed this place! The attention to detail is unmatched! Mrs. Karen had us an adorable little goodie basket with a bottle of wine waiting on us when we got there. The hot tub was so nice! Everything was so clean! If we could leave it a 10 star review, we would. This place is HIGHLY recommended and we will DEFINITELY be back!!

We wanted a friends reunion weekend in the mountains and Sugarbush Chalet was too perfect! We enjoyed hours in the oversize hot tub (with tv!), a pizza in the pizza oven, drinks with the e-barista machine, turning the fire on and off with Alexa :), and reading under the plethora of cozy blankets. The town of Clayton, GA held plenty of hours of fun too, which we delved into thanks to the personalized recommendations of the property owner. They checked on us during the stay and we felt so well taken care of. The place was immaculate and there were so many home touches -- everything we could need in the kitchen; sound machine in the bedroom; board games! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and it's thanks to their hospitality!

A well cared for and maintained home with so many personal and special touches. First time my wife hasn't re-washed all the silverware and dishes prior to use! While extremely private and steeped in nature, Sugarbush Shalet also has perfect access to so many fun things. We had a great time visiting the many hiking trails and parks, Highlands, and the brewery in Clayton. When we weren't exploring we enjoyed the amenities of the home including the fire pits, hot tub, and sunshine filled porch/deck. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This house was perfectly laid out with everything we needed for a great weekend. Very nice use of all the available space makes every little section of this house even better.
