About this condo rental
Situated in Destin, this lovely condo for $270 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Just steps to the Beach and Destin Pass Guests return year after year to intimate Poolside Villas on Destin’s Holiday Isle. Dunes Away is a second floor, end unit with the living room multiple windows that view the famous Destin East Pass. Wake up to watch the fishing fleet leave in the morning and return in the evening. Condo complex has a beautiful pool with plenty of seating, lounge chairs, and grills for outdoor barbeques. The beach is a short walk out the back gate by the pool through the dunes to the public beach area. A portion of the beach area is leased/owned by Emerald Grand @ Harbor Walk village for their guests to use, so you will need to set up chairs to the left or right of their area which you will see with the blue chairs and umbrellas. Norriego Point has great snorkeling opportunities and is a short walk out the front of the complex along a sidewalk. The drone shots in the photo section show the beauty that is found on all sides of the complex. The unit can be accessed by walking up two flights of stairs or by using the complex elevator. The complex provides carts to assist with transporting luggage, groceries and supplies to the unit. These carts are located by the elevator on the bottom floor. Please return it back to the first floor near the elevators so that other guests may use, and please do not roll carts into the condo. Master bedroom has a king size bed and views to the Gulf through the slider door across the balcony and overlooks the complex pool. Guest bedroom has a queen bed. There is a sleeper sofa (queen) in the living room with a ‘Cozy Mattress’ bringing 8.5 INCHES of pillow-top, bed-quality comfort. The guest closet also contains a twin-size blow-up mattress, and an all-terrain cart to bring all supplies to the beach easily. The condo is beautifully finished, with even a living room electric fireplace for cool fall and winter evenings. Kitchen is full sized with range, microwave, and dishwasher. Kitchen also has a slow cooker, blender, toaster, and drip coffee maker. Stocked with a full range of utensils, cookware and quality knives. The unit also has a stackable washer and dryer in the kitchen area. The following items will be supplied as starter supplies upon check-in: one dishwasher detergent pod/pack, one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, travel shampoo & conditioner plus a small bar of soap or body wash per bathroom. Each trash can will have a fresh bag as well. Unit is NON-SMOKING/NON-VAPING.

The location/beach is beautiful, unfortunately we only had one day of good beach weather. The walk to and from the beach was difficult for my in-laws and son with special needs. The condo was clean but the sliding glass door is difficult to open/close. The faucet in the master bedroom shower/tub is also difficult to maneuver. Communication with the owner was very easy, we would stay here again if it was just me and my husband going.

The condo is clean and in pretty good condition. A bit smaller than it appears in the pictures but it worked for us.The view is the best part of this unit. It overlooks the dunes and jetty. My wife did not enjoy the very long walk to the beach made longer by the hotel chairs taking up a large portion of the beach. We decided to drive to a different beach for a shorter walk and clearer water(the water in front of the condo was green).The kitchen is well stocked. The batroom fans are pretty loud and the sliding glass door needs adjusting. It is very hard to open and close it. More storage would be nice. We had a hard time finding places to put our stuff.The beach cart is awesome. The chairs and umbrella are just ok. We enjoyed the pool when it was not super crowded. The pool is small so it filled up pretty easily. The location is tucked back on the point so it takes a while to drive in and out but there is very little trafic back there which is nice. The owner was very helpful and answered all of our questions quickly. We enjoyed our stay. Not bad for the price paid.

This condo was beautiful. Tastefully decorated and in the perfect location at what we believe to be the prettiest spot in all of Destin-right by the Jetty’s. The owner was very responsive and readily available when we had questions (which wasn’t often). We hope to visit here again SOONER than next year, but definitely plan on making this our new summer vacation spot.

The room had everything we needed. The air stopped working in the middle of the night. I texted Jason at 130 in the morning, not expecting an answer until the next day, and heard back from him within 30 minutes. He had someone fix it the next day.

My family and I enjoyed our stay!! It was right on the beach. The unit was very clean and had all the necessities. The reason for my 4 stars was due to being awaken by so much noise from the unit above. It started early in the morning and start up back up later in the day. Besides that it was great waking up to a beach view and watching the activity taking place on the beach.

We were scheduled to get into town earlier than normal check in time. However, through communication, accommodations were made so we could get in without waiting around. The kids enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beautiful beaches and water! My kids learned how to boogie board with the ones provided. The location was perfect, we don’t think we want to stay anywhere else when we come back!

Dolphin views!
We were very pleased with this property. It is beautifully decorated and very cozy. The kitchen is fully stocked with quality items for all your food prep needs. The master bed was firm and comfortable. The second bedroom we expected bunk beds however there was a queen bed. We found a twin mattress in the closet that we put on the floor after a little rearranging. It worked out great. The views were spectacular! We could sit and watch the dolphins swimming in the bay as we ate breakfast. This condo is also a short walk to the beach and they even have some beach chairs available to use. Parking is easy and plentiful. We had a wonderful vacation and so happy with this place. We will be back!
