About this house rental
Situated in Lake Wylie, this attractive house for $407 per night is a great choice for your next break. The place started as a 1 room log cabin that was added to many times over the years. In 2021 we stripped the place to its bones and updated everything while keeping what was cool about the place. We think the result is a cabin with all the character you could want and all the modern features of a true luxury vacation venue. You should take the time to walk the miracle mile. A street that is lined with trees that canopy the road and views of the lake that are just beautiful. You can spend evenings by the rock fire pit with a waterfall feature or on the swing porch that is lake front. You may want to relax in the copper lined bubble infused soaking tub. or the incredible steam shower. Unique 30 inch gas lanterns adorn all corners of the property, This home oozes luxury and romance! Property is located just 13 minutes to downtown and Panthers Stadium, 6 minutes to The White Water Center, and 7 minutes to historic down town Belmont. You are a $6 Uber ride to the airport but not under it! You can see them fly over the other side of the lake but don't hear them which is very cool. We are not new to this business, we have owned 2 other VRBO properties on Mountain Island that are very affordable and still get 4.75on one and 5 stars on the other. You can be assured we will take good care of you too!. Brand new luxury Pontoon available at your dock. at discounted rate for guests. Please note; if anyone in your party has mobility issues you will want to be careful considering this place. The house is positioned on a sloping lot. The front steps were constructed with boulders, there are spiral stirs to the lower level and 34 steps down to the lake.

The house was great. Very well decorated, beautiful views, excellent fireplace, and nice touches throughout. Owners also thoughtfully stocked the house for guests.I woould stay again but definitely not an option for people with poor mobility.

This place has Great Lake views, convenient to many places. Place has a little old feel but with some modernized upgrades. Stayed here a week and will definitely return during the summer days. Host was great to deal with!

We stayed between Christmas and New Year, while visiting relatives in nearby South Carolina. The home is just lovely. Beautiful views from every room. Inspirational kitchen and a great media/movie night room. Downtown Belmont is adorable, and the home is close to CLT. Bob was fantastic to work with.

Beautiful home with fantastic views and very kind host! We could not be happier with our stay. We rented Bob’s pontoon boat and had a blast taking it down to Papa Docs for lunch. The house was spotless and had so many cool features. We can’t wait to come back!

This property has it all; location, amenities, and the wow factor. Rob made everything for arrival perfect and was available to answer any questions. I took advantage of the boat rental option and had a perfect sunset cruise on the lake.Definitely a five star rental.

The property was wonderful, probably one of the best we have stayed in. Bob and Kim were wonderful hosts and very attentive. We had such a great experience on the lake that we purchased a home during our stay!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It is right on the lake with a beautiful dock, and big rocking chairs that you can sit and watch the sunset. Plus Robert Has floats, canoes and paddle boards to use.
Cabin is stunning and can sleep 8 people comfortably. Super cosy and three bathrooms - one that can turn into a steam room!!
Robert and his wife were beyond awesome. Always available, they live right next-door, and so helpful in making our stay an unforgettable experience.
We did a girls trip and was the best experience. Not walking distance to the town, but instacart and DoorDash deliver.

Our family of 7 had the best time at Last Cove Lodge! The cabin is absolutely stunning both inside and outside and very clean and comfortable. Every room has an amazing view of the lake, especially the kitchen and dining area! The kitchen is fully stocked, as are the bathrooms - the hosts haven't missed a thing. The porch swings with the fans are a special added touch and a great place for morning coffee, afternoon naps or reading and evening wine. We rented the boat and we highly recommend that - the lake is so calm, beautiful and fun to find a cove for floating. We also took a boat ride to dinner at Papa Docks and that was great. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. It is a place we would definitely stay again!

We have rented several VRBO locations but this one by far was the nicest. The host (Bob) is amazing, providing us with everything we could need. After allowing us to settle in, he came over and showed us how to use everything, from the outdoor grill to all of the lighting.
The house is tastefully decorated, a gourmet kitchen/appliances, soft bedding/pillows, all the linens you need, TVs in every room and a view to die for. We took the boat out 3 times during our stay and hung out on a sand bar floating the day away.
If we every decide to visit North Carolina again, we would most definitely pick the "Last Cove Lodge" again.

This rental house was amazing! The pics online do not do it justice. The ease of renting, the owner Bob was so kind and very accommodating. The place was so clean and inviting, plenty of room to roam around and a fully equipped kitchen with an outdoor grill, what more could you ask for. The amenities this house had to offer was just amazing. If we are in NC again we will definitely stay here again.

This is our second time staying at the "Last Cove Lodge," and once again it did not disappoint. The house is lovely, well-appointed, and has a beautiful view of the lake. It was a rainy weekend, but we were still able to go boating one day and we found other things to do on the rainy days. We love the location and the house and hope to return again next year.

The house was perfect for our family and friends to get together after a wedding. I loved having our boat rentals right at the dock and ready to go. The owner was very accommodating and very easy to get ahold of. The house was gorgeous! I highly recommend!!!!

The property is even better than the photos (which are still great) but it exceeded our expectations. Perfect location if you’re trying to be relaxed outside the hustle of the city but close enough to enjoy when you want. Bob was extremely helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Every thing about this property is gorgeous and well thought out. It includes everything you could possibly dream of, including a steam room, amazing jacuzzi tub, heated toilet seat, high end towels and sheets, a coffee station, multiple tvs, sound systems in every room. The view and access to the lake were superb and the porch swings made it especially dreamy. The owners were kind and responsive. We will definitely come back! This was by far the best rental we've ever stayed at.

Gorgeous, newly remodeled & beautifully decorated, home on Lake Wylie. Beautiful lake views and all the amenities you'd want. Lovely sitting area with a continuous waterfall and glass fire pit, wood burning fireplace in the main living space, a gourmet kitchen, a movie room, multiple porches, and a boat for rent. The property owners were extremely responsive and super flexible. It was an amazing week!

Fred and Jean greeted us at their Condo overlooking the water the moment we arrived into Charlottetown. Their condo is immaculately clean and has everything a family could require when spending time in PEI. The heated underground parking was a treat as we visited during the Canada Winter Games in early March. Looking forward to staying again when we head back for a summer holiday experience.

When you walk down the amazing custom slate steps leading to this home you’re greeted by the southing sound of a waterfall feature and fire pit; instantly this home stands out as a relaxing inviting getaway.
Inside you will find space and features that the pictures just couldn’t show how wowing they are. The home is decorated very classy, and up to date, and the view is amazing wether off the top deck, swings on the bottom deck, or lake side dock. The owners were beyond friendly, and even came over showed us how to run the smoker for our steak dinner, and even allowed us to plug our Tesla in. It was so gorgeous that my wife informed me I’m required to re rent it for a family trip since it was just myself and my employees this time for a conference.
You won’t regret staying at this Vrbo.

My stay was incredible. The house was spotless and the hosts were very accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. Very nice tv’s and the kitchen was really beautiful with modern appliances. Views of the water were amazing. Great place for a getaway and super close access to the city if you want to get out for a dinner.

This was our second time staying in 2022 and let me tell you, it was even better the second time around. We stayed for New Year's. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, hot cider ready to go the moment we walked in.
This is truly a home, away from home.
All you need to bring is your clothes. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, every corner of the house, is fully stocked with everything you can possibly need and more.
The owner promptly answers any questions and/or concerns and is always available.
Needless to say, we will be booking it again in 2023!

Check in was easy, just texted the host. We arrived an hour early and host was very accommodating. Property was as advertised. We really liked the numerous amenities the host provided, coffee, snacks, fresh cut flowers and bath toiletries to name a few. Check out was normal and simple. We visited in early Jan due to grand baby #2 arrival so we could care for grand baby #1. Great property. Would like to return in the summer. Pets allowed. Be mindful that there are numerous uneven stone steps down to the front door. and many deck steps down to the lake. We are in our mid 60's and had no problems but be aware. Landscaping, lighting, water feature and gas fire feature make the treck down to the front door well worth it.

We met at the Last Cove Lodge the day before Winter Storm Elliott arrived driving from Alabama, New Jersey and Arkansas to spend Christmas. Five adults and pets. What an amazing place to be at Christmas. The home is beautiful with everything you will need and a host that wants you to have a great time. Very convenient and close to Belmont and Charlotte for restaurants and groceries! Thank you Bob and Kim for sharing your home with us. We will be back to see you guys!! Happy New Year!

All the amenities you can imagine. Wood burning fireplace, stream room, awesome kitchen and bathroom. Outdoor seating was fantastic. We didn’t get to try the outdoor firepit. Fishing was great :). Highly recommended!
