About this house rental
Located in Cultus Lake, this attractive house for $222 per night is a great option for your next break. We are 3 min walk to the lake ! We are a short walk to the waterslides, amusement park, outdoor cinema night, restaurants, summer market and the golf course. There are walking trails right outside your door. And there are many other half and full days hikes close by. You can rent motorized watercraft, paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boats. We have two ice cream places a short walk from the house. I'm not sure that a selling feature for families with young kids :-) There are 2 parking spots on site, with 2 more available with permits if required! 23-374-022 STR Permit

Inside of property was very quaint,it had everything you needed for a family get together.All the beds were quite comfortable and plenty of bedding and linens.very happy with our stay.
On another note ,was just enough propane for the cooking,and no propane for the outdoor fire pit,this was something we were looking forward to sitting around as a family enjoying a fire and a beverage.It would have been nice if someone took the time to clean the backyard before our stay.at least take a blower to the paths and fire pit area,we were looking forward to the outdoor space as much as the indoor space.
I would stay here again,hope my review helps all parties in the future

it's often a gamble booking a place you have never seen but I can assure you this place is no gamble. Accurate description, lovely cozy cottage, amazing area, clean, comfortable. Had everything one needed to cook, relax, and sleep. At first glance rules seemed a bit intense but really they were not. I confess I had to read up on the garbage 3 times and I'm not sure I did not mess up a bit but I was also really pleased to know that the community is very on top of recycle and low footprint. They even had a bin for dog poop. Thank you to our wonderful hosts and owners. I did not need to contact them because their communications were so clear. Oh one thing it did take me a while to find the laundry on the last day so I could get the bedding and towels to the laundry. It's actually a door out the back porch and down the stairs. Cute place with lots of character. Had an absolutely great time. It's also very very quiet in spite of a pretty high density. I want to go back, like next week :-)

This house was a perfect fit for my family! Excellent location, enough space for nine of us and close to everything and a great backyard to hang out in the evening or early morning! Overall, my family had a great time staying in this house. Thank you Chris,we will be back!

Great location for multi generational vacation. Lots of room! Two bathrooms. Full laundry. Kids loved outdoor space. Cant beat cultas lake for location, and beautiful well kept town. Lots of lake access, docks, swimming areas.
House does not have a dishwasher but worked fine for us.
Very well equiped, everything we needed!
But no tissue boxes, soap well provided, but no shampoo.
Comfy beds.
Overall perfect beach house!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cedar cottage! It was a great spot for our family vacation, and a really nice space well-suited to a family.
Prior to our stay, Chris responded to my messages, however once we were at the cottage he did not. He showed up unexpectedly on our last morning and entered the cottage without knocking. The whole thing was odd because he could have messaged us or called us to ask his question.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is quite old but is well kept and has had updated bathrooms. The listing says it sleeps 12 which worked for us for 2 nights but that was very full...8 is a more realistic number. It is very close to the lake but not right on the lake.

Great place for kids too with a fenced yard...many places have NO yard.
Very comfortable over all.
Raccoons visit 😉 so keep the bins tucked away😊

The property was great. Cute place with all the amenities we needed. The neighbourhood is super cute and the lake is gorgeous. The fenced-in dog park was a nice little surprise and a great place to take our dog to play and run with other dogs. The host was excellent, very helpful and responsive. Overall great stay!

Great Family Cottage
My family and I had a wonderful time at Chris's cottage! We arrived to a clean, well equipped home with tons of character and within walking distance to the lake.
