About this house rental

Nestled in Venus Bay, this attractive house for $141 per night is a great option for your next break. Set behind the sand dunes of the beautiful Cape Liptrap Coastal Park and within a short walk to the pristine beaches of Venus Bay, Coastal Hideaway is nestled amongst the tea trees, hidden away from the world in a peaceful and secluded part of Venus Bay’s more popular first estate. This classic sea-side escape is ideally located with an easy walk to Beach 3 and a short 15-minute walk to shops and cafes. Great for romantic weekends, family holidays or time with close friends. Coastal Hideaway is set just behind the sand dunes of Beach 3, nestled within the tea trees. The front of the house is not visible from the street providing privacy and seclusion. To reach the house you travel down our unique driveway, where the tea trees have formed a special tunnel canopy - it creates a sense of secrecy and privacy from the street. There is a large balcony at the front of the house. When sitting on the balcony you can hear the waves crashing on the surf beach. The mature garden provides interest with many little garden rooms for the kids to explore. The house has two spacious bedrooms, an open plan kitchen, living and dining room along with separate shower, toilet and a small laundry room with a laundry trough. Want to work from Home? For those needing to work whilst at our house, there is a handy home office / study nook in the first bedroom, separate from the main lounge area. Internet hot spotting from your mobile is very good as I often do this myself. The living room has a stereo, a TV, an Apple TV (which you can connect to your mobile phone hotspot if you like). The house also comes with a wood heater and the option of a split system air conditioner (heating & cooling) as well. The kitchen is well appointed with oven, electric stove, large fridge, microwave and all cooking utensils. There are DVDs for adults and the kids, lots of books to read, and some games to play as well. In the evenings and at night there is a local wombat that sometimes comes to visit, so keep and eye out for this special visitor - he will just go about his business and he is a treat for the kids to see. I'm a fan of succulents, so there is a small succulent garden at the rear and side of the house. Please note the property is only fenced on one side and partially on the other. We prefer no animals but happy to consider in a case by case basis. Own bedding is required.

We had a lovely holiday, but we so sad to miss the wombat. Other than the aforementioned wombat-less stay, we were quite pleased with the house and our stay there.

Was a beautiful place to stay, had everything we need with a very comfy bed. Great information from the host, we plan to go back in the future.

The host is lovely and communication was easy and quick. The property has everything we needed and is a short drive to all the beaches and the shops. The beautiful garden space provided the requisite ‘run around and explore’ space for our 5 year old whilst we watched from the deck. Perfect!

long weekend by the beach
long weekend by the beach
We enjoyed our long weekend in the simple but pleasant house set in the coastal vegetation. The living/dining area was very cosy and the large deck and spacious garden were great to relax and for our two sons to play in. One of the best aspects is the easy access to so many beautiful beaches in the area but with the amenities of a little beach town very close by.
