The views from the property are fantastic. It’s so quaint and quirky, like nowhere else we have stayed before. Set on the side of the mountain it was peaceful and quiet. The pool was lovely and refreshing in the very hot weather.Atrani beach was just at the bottom of the steps down the mountain. It was beautiful and the water was a welcome retreat to cool off from the sun.
There are a lot of steps to get from Atrani to the property which is only to be expected as you are staying half way up a mountain. But we walked down the steps through the narrow streets which would remind you of Gondor (Lord of the Rings) or King’s landing (Game of Thrones) It’s like going back in time. We then got the Ravello bus back up which leaves you off close to the entrance of the property. And you don’t have to climb the steps back up in the heat.

The location higher up the mountain is beautiful and there are views everywhere you turn. We traveled with two small children, 2 & 3 1/2, and we were able to make the walk down to Atrani for dinner easily enough, even though the walkdown seemed intimidating. Luciano was a fantastic host and make sure we had everything we needed as well as giving excellent recommendations. If we were back in the area, we would definitely stay again!
Taxis to and from the area, add up quickly due to a stoplight, which can be as long as 15 minutes in each direction. It is absolutely no fault of the property, but something to consider.

Loved the view and location. Luciano was a huge help and so sweet! The pool was well maintained and refreshing as it was quite hot. Free washer was also a welcome addition!, just don’t forget to pack detergent!
No coffee maker so had to run to Atrani or Amalfi for our morning fix (about 350ish steps). Very lightly stocked kitchen and no paper products (paper towels/napkins).
