The view from the balcony was just amazing! It’s nice that you have access to the balcony from both living room and bedroom. The beds were really comfortable. The kitchen and living room were spacious. The bathroom was nice. The location was excellent for exploring Girona and we found free parking for our rental car not far away. It was nice that it had an elevator.
The lack of air conditioning in the second bedroom unfortunately made it too hot during our stay. It might be fine if bedroom doors were left open at night, but that wasn’t something that worked for us. We were able to solve it by using the sofabed in the living room as a second bedroom instead, but that decreased the living space. Not a huge problem, since we were out exploring the area most of the time.

The location, decor, and ample space are huge benefits of this property. Having a kitchen and washing machine + drying rack were quite helpful. The balcony and its view are a bonus.
The following are not necessarily the responsibility of the property owner, however, they did impact our stay:
Due to the extreme heat and high humidity at the time of our stay, the air conditioning was not as potent and it probably normally is. The second bedroom had no AC unit at all, but the main bedroom and living room did. Having a standing fan to push the colder air around helped, but it was still challenging because of the weather.
Additionally, the building elevator was a bit janky—it often did not work and when it did, it would abruptly start and stop. The stairs are great for descending, but do note that there is a ground floor, entresol (an intermediate floor), and then floors 1, 2, 3.

Brilliant host! Communicated very well. Allowed us to check in early on the arrival day, also called us a taxi to the train station on the leaving day. Very good service provided. The house is in the centre of the town. 5 mins walk from the red bridge. The ice cream store downstairs sells the best ice cream I’ve ever had! A brilliant trip!

The location
The shower is in disrepair and leaks onto the floor outside of the shower.
Just needs a few touches such as a nice picture in the bathroom and bedrooms as well as leaving a few Nespresso pods and basic tea with sugar.
