My room vas next to a metal door that when closing made a big noise. Also sound isolation is poor,noisy people at 3 AM on the corridors

Easy Stay (also named Hotel Haugesund and Hotel Neptun in the past) is a good choice for the budget traveler. It is a level four block walk from the downtown center, but there are at least three restaurants within two blocks. The staff was available immediately on arrival and check-in was easy. The breakfast was ample and tasty and should satisfy most Western visitors. It is served in a large room with good seating. The bed was soft and comfortable.
The bathroom was small with little room to set down toiletries. The walls are thin and neighboring conversations can be clearly heard, so I recommend earplugs. The door locks were refitted with keyless mechanisms, which work well, but the refitting left a 3 mm gap between the door and the door frame, which feels vulnerable to break-in tools. However, room access requires passing two other doors that are always locked, so I felt safe. As an older property, each room has fewer power taps than newly built properties, and no USB taps, so adapters are required, and a multi-tap power strip is good to bring.

Location is great and receptin guy whom I have met was very polita, nice and helpul!
Breakfast was not that great as I expected and I persnally did not like the persnal helping with breakfast. This htel is ok for short stay, not longer then 2 days, I guess.
