About this cabin rental
The Bird house is right in the middle of the areas best attractions. It sits only 3 miles from Little River Canyon. While being only 4 miles away from DeSoto State Park. This cabin is perfect for a couples romantic retreat. Single bedroom, one bath cabin. The bedroom has a queen sized bed, a balcony leading out of the bedroom that overlooks the beginning of a 20 acre wooded lot. A custom large walk In shower with a clear glass door. Nicely decorated throughout and has a very warming feeling as soon as you walk in. Its fully stocked with kitchen utensils and pans. The cast iron skillets are to be used if you wish as well. We have a charcoal grill on the porch for those who like to cookout. The HOT TUB is a favorite among guest, perfect mood to light up the large outdoor firepit at night and sit back in the private hot tub, such a romantic and relaxing experience. The cabin sits at the front of a 20 acre lot that puts you right at natures door step. Great phone service and you can be in town within a 8 minutes drive. We are very close to Weiss lake at 17 minutes, Fort Payne reservoir at 10 minutes and Dekalb County lake at 20 minutes. So bring those boats and kayaks for some great fishing.
We are very communicative and will happily guide you to the areas best attractions whether it be Restaurants, Fishing, Hiking, Malls and so on. We love to help.

We booked here to celebrate my wonderful boyfriend’s birthday. The host was very responsive to my questions about our stay. Check-in was super easy, just a code to open the door! We really enjoyed the decorations in the house and the furniture was comfortable and homey. We also enjoyed the hot tub and heavenly doesn’t even begin to explain it. We had some extra guests each evening and morning, 2 bunnies came to visit, lol. If you’re wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle this place is it! If you do choose to stay here you might bring a tiny flash light or use your cell phone to light your way down to the hot tub and fire pit area. Overall, our stay was amazing and would definitely recommend visiting.

The host was very responsive to my questions and I would recommend this place if you are looking for a secluded place for a romantic getaway that has a hot tub and privacy. The woods had a couple of hawks that we got to see up close. If we come back through here we will see if the bird house is available first.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Birdhouse! So clean and quiet/private! We came to the area to visit nearby DeSoto Falls and Little River Canyon where we hiked all day, so the soak in the hot tub afterwards was amazing! There was so much in the area we didn’t get to do since we only had one full day, so we will definitely plan to stay at the Birdhouse again in the future!
